If I lived in CA, I would go to Venice Beach and use all the cool beach stuff.  (not muscle beach), but the monkey bars and rings and such.  I think I need to do things the stretch me out and make me taller and work on upper body strength.  That would be cool too.

TRX or basic Pushup, Pullup, Dips. Add in some deadlifts(while watching form).  Kettlebells for a few others and you have a killer workout.

Real Steel got me thinking.  I was checking out the lead actress and digging on her bod.  She was ripped and had that "boxer" phisique...

So sincere question.  If I were to add one, maybe two thing to my regular triathlon training to get more of that look, what would it be?  Rowing?  Kettlebell?  Pilates or yoga?

Of those ... kettlebells without a doubt.  They do a body good!

kettle bells was the last workout I did with a healthy back :-(

Were they the cause of an unhealthy back?

I am not a 100% sure.  The Captain thinks he did the damage, still walking around with a smirk

Fireman's lift?

I feel so frisky and energetic today.  I think it's the cooler temps.  The heat just saps your strength sometimes.

I just heard an ad on the radio for TB tacos served with Doritos to add an extra cheesy crunch.  Maybe this had been around for a while.  I'm not sure I would want Doritos in my Taco Bell.

The idea sounded intresting (and they have been around for several months at least).  I tried them a couple times but they aren't that impressive to me.  I don't get them anymore.

Buffalo Wild Wings has regular old tortilla chips on a burger with jalepeno's.  That's pretty good.  Eggs on a burger is good too.

Smash Burger and a couple other places offer the fried egg option for the burger.  I love that option (over easy of course)

I'm glad my office is out of fun snacks.  I would be eating some cookies or a candy bar at this moment if they weren't.

I'm not really much of a cat person, but Cee Lo's kind of cracks me up.  Probably more Cee Lo than the cat.

I'm SO excited! My mom just sent me my grandma's cast iron hand cranked meat grinder. Complete with the box, recipie book and instructions. Must be circa 1940. Gonna start by making Italian Sausage and graduate to sopresatta, if I can learn how to dry cure it. Kielbasa and brats may be in my future.
