day #30, I made it. Celebrated with a beer and a small banana split. I have a 38min run scheduled for tomorrow so it looks like the mini streak will continue.

Thanks for the support all, in 30 days I feel that I did transform my running. I started with really disliking running to now looking forward to putting in my daily run.

Streak abandoned - if I was at 100 I'd carry on, but at 40 feeling pretty below average I'm letting it go.  Start again when I'm better.

40 is the furthest I've got so far.  Pretty happy with that.  I m not gonna streak for the sake of it...this time!

Congrats on getting to 30 days, I still remember when I started my streak so many days ago. It felt like 30 days was impossible. I celebrate with a beer or two quite frequently.

I'm considering a beach trail run Sunday...(hangover permitting) ....if I do that, then the streak's back on!  Dumb cold stopped me in my tracks.

Day 479, ran a local 5K in 22:15 good enough for 15th overall out of 178 runners and 2nd in my 50-54 year old age group. It was snowy, cold and real slippery in spots. I loosened up for 3.3 miles but did not feel loose until the last mile which I ran at a 6:20 pace. 6.4 miles overall today.

Bro...take this to the bank.  I'm Irish.....it's St. Patrick's day.  I had to have my kids to a computrainer session late morning so the St. Paddy's day run was out....by the time we got home the rain/sleet had settled in.....and all my buds are at the tavern....where I REALLY wanted to be.  Instead, I go run in this miserable weather.  Without the streak, no way in hell I run today.

Still....glad to have it done.....and these beers are really tasting good sitting here by the fire.  Laughing
