Have fun Lyssa.Ha - cats and decorations... for years, when I had one or more cats... the tree pretty much had only lights... and was sometimes anchored to the ceiling... flying leaps (by the cat) into the tree were just a bit more excitement than I, and the fragile ornaments, were willing to risk. LMAO!!!! Thats fabulous! I think I may have to go searching for Simpsons decorations this year... anyone know if they exist? Oh... to add more excitement... those little silver-plastic icicles / tinsel that you painstakingly hang over the branches... no... cats eat that stuff... and what goes in, must come out... envision a cat racing from the kitty box... yup, trailing tinsel... and, um, a human must intervene. To avoid further gastric distress, that was the last time I put tinsel on a tree! Oh nooooooooo!!! I can only imagine. My old dog once ate an entire bag of holiday wrapped Hershey's kisses, you know, with the red, green and silver foil? Now, when I say the entire bag I mean the plastic bag that contained all the kisses as well as every last kiss. No evidence. I couldn't understand what happened to that bag of kisses. I left them on the counter and thought I was going crazy when I couldn't find it. Welllll... fortunately, he had a steel stomach (this dog seriously ate some crazy stuff over the years and never got sick) so didn't get violently ill from the chocolate... and the only way I knew what had happened was because his poop was very, ummmm, "festive"!!!!
OMG ROTFLMAO! |

By the time the 12 yr old "cleans" her room today I'll have at least 3 more to do...Yeah, the stuff on the floor gets tossed in the laundry so she doesn't have to put it away. Problem is I can't always tell what's clean/folded and SHOULD have been put away cause she just dumps the clean laundry on the floor mixed in with the stuff she's worn ( for all of 20 minutes) all over the floor. should just make her wash her own clothes but she's so lazy that she'd just wear the same dirty stuff all the ime. We just got her to start combing her hair through (LOTS OF HAIR ON THAT HEAD) It's as if you've described my daughter and her laundry putting away, clothes wearing, hair combing attitude to a tee, but she's only nine... aye yie yie. Umm I still kind of suck with the putting the laundry away thing.... ooops.... considering the fact that you just found your fishnets in the bathtub, well, ummm, lets' just say that this doesn't come as a huge surprise ;-) haha actually it makes more sense when you think about it... I have a tiny bathroom, no room for a launcry basket so... I tend to use the bathtub ummm, yeah, sure - whatever works Cat ;-) |

Royal(PITA) 14270 West Chester, Ohio | Subject: RE: They Who Shall Not Be Named (Twisnibbins) IV I can deal with a mess if there's a purpose to it (ie school project or one of my half done cross stitch things) because these are usually self limited and evenually get completed (okay so I have a cross stitch project I started when the kids were toddlers but its on a shelf) It's the inability to throw away every scrap of paper or junk food wrapper on the floor that I can't deal with--and the assorted dirty dishes in the bedroom that don't belong there in the first place. Now my assorted race numbers need a permanent home. Quick poll-What do the Nibbins do with race numbers? A) Save for ummmm interesting pics B) Toss it cause you have race pics from a friend/S.O. coming C) Use it in a scrapbook for yur races D) Make acollage of the seasons race numbers, take a picture of the collage and toss 'em or not take a pic but keep the collage

I tell you today was awesome and a great experience. My kids were there and they thought dad was cool. We had a celebration lunch afterwards and the family hit the road or the airlines. Here's some pictures: Excitement fills the air, till we hit the water! What was I thinking! JK the water was great! Freestyle all the way! Get off the bike retard, your still in the transition area! I can laugh at myself. (Yanti stop looking at my butt) LOL Finally got it right and I'm off! This transition stuff sucks, got to be easier. And I'm off again, must think fast happy thoughts!
Is it over? Did I win?

Oh yeah, another member of BT was there that I ran into. I took her picture as she made it across the finish line (sealiongirl). Good job girl!

Actually, your going to laugh at my motivation. There was nice pace booty there but there was this guy about ten years older then I was that motivated me. He didn't say anything but we had the same pace all the way through the run. He knew I was there and we stayed neck in neck till the last 1/2 mile where he then pulled away. He beat me by 4 seconds. Funny the things that motivate you. that makes sense... 10 years older and able to keep up with you is admirable You dont want to let him beat you, and he wants to show you how it should be done! that totally makes sense to me! I know when I see someone older than me pass by me, I am so much more motivated I had a fantastic experience at the HyVee tri keeping pace with a gal that was just about my age - we really kept each other going and even went through the finish line together - it was acutally very cool |

Aaaw thanks! My mum has all the nice stuff we collected when I was in my teens... oh well I guess its time I started some traditions of my own... my kids didn't want me to hang the ones they made in preschool. NO WAY those things are special, cute little ornaments covered in glitter with preschool pics of my girls when they were cute!!Now they're just teenagers in need of attitude adjustment. I still keep nonbreakable ornaments, somethig to do with Mocha climbing the tree and knocking them down. Oscar chews up the soft ones, Copy doesn't care as long as she has a lap of choice once in a while |

When we moved OS when I was 10 we didnt take that kind of thing with us so we started from scratch and each christmas my mum and I would go looking for new things for the tree... Nothing is colour matched or anything but it always looks fantastic! |
