Cindy and I don't even step on the scale. We KNOW we're gonna gain weight over the holiday, so we just enjoy the holidays and work like crazy come January 1! Sure, not the best way to handle it, but it definitely drops the stress level around here...

You'd be surprised what kind of things exist in MN that cannot be found in many other parts of the world...like lutefisk...

Hey now, lutefisk isn't simply a MN delicacy...trust me...

My Norwegian relatives in Illinois always seemed to have some on the holiday table, along with kumla (which in my estimation is school paste mixed with potato grounds - NASTY).

LOL... no time for a full date report (especially since I'm here in Nibbins talking to myself ).

The movie was great. It was a lot like the book which I always appreciate. Tommy Lee Jones was phenomenal. It was definitely violent which isn't ordinarily my cup of tea but the juxtaposition of that with Tommy Lee Jones' one liners made it a movie where you'd be horrifed one moment and then laughing out loud over something the next. Boy Toy has already thrown out several of the quotes today *sigh* I live in a world of movie lines.

National Treasure 2 was fun! We saw almost 30 minutes of previews and commercials before they finally showed the movie. Arrggh, isn't that why we go to movies is to get away from the commercials. Dinner afterwards was great. Bi Ba's Italian.

Hey west coast Twisnibbins. I might be in California in May. Looking at the Napa Valley Sprint on May 4th. Any opinions?

All Twisnibbins, there is also the Great Urban Race in San Francisco on May 3rd. It really sounds cool. Hubby and I are thinking of doing the Atlanta on on March 29th. Has anyone done one of these Great Urban Races?

Hey, I am doing some home office cleaning today, as well... Fresh start to the new year.
