Okay, I believe I have contributed to the post-padding as much as anyone can bear I can. Off to do pushups!

Apparently I'm good for one more - I know you're proud, Dee.

I'm totally in for an October running challenge. Yes please!

And one more, even after that stunning piece.

I updated the spreadsheet! Go me! I feel all accomplished. I just want to say, I am dead-on 40% for pushups and running. Just haven't done my bike or swim yet, so my overall percentage is down. I am available for proper punishment. Hopefully I'll swim this weekend, maybe I'll bust out the bike next week once I rearrange my living room.

tlnewman30 - 2008-09-12 1:38 PM I worry about injuries too. I am just trying to not overdue it all at once.

hehe - dont!!! i think that what I may have done... that and used a treadmill... its going to take a LOT for me to ever go on one of those things again...

Every running injury Ive ever had has happened/developed while on a treadmill!

Or as Laura would say, "The Dreadmill." I hate those things too. I only use them if the weather outside isn't friendly. Which in Colorado, that might be a lot during the winter.

Here its been the fact it feels like its been mostly raining since November last year.... but I will be getting out there... soon...

Especially if October is Run Challenge month!

I'm all for a October run challenge.  My half marathon is Oct 11.  Can't wait for it to be over so I can go back to running for fun and not stress about getting in all my miles.

jrcody - 2008-09-11 5:08 AM Hello WCP&T from Afganistan!! Everything here is about what you would expect ... at least it is not 120 degrees ... today's high here in Bagram is 95 ..... nice and cool.
Sounds,uh, lovely.... How's the humidity?
Up here in the mountains not bad at all. But the 65 degrees is hard to get use to.

I bet 65 is way cold coming from 120!  Bundle up!

Slugger - 2008-09-12 4:49 AM I had a super-healthy snack last night and tonight that I must share with you. It included hot-ish peppers (not super hot), cream cheese, breadcrumbs, a frying pan, and oil. Heart healthy, it was. Yummers! They were basically oversized jalapeno poppers, only not that hot. I haven't perfected the recipe yet, so I must have more. I love harvest season. And apples are starting to come in....oooohhhh......

Yummmmmmyyyyyy!  That sounds like heaven.  Think I'll try it this weekend.  Thanks Slugger!

Maybe we should visit her in GA. Of course, first, we'd have to develop Taser-Shields....

If you two come to Hotlanta I promise it will be taser-free fun.  I won't make any Naughty Janet promises, though .

Um, does it have to be taser-free? Well, I suppose if the Janet is still on the table. I bet Hotlanta is a good place to go in February... Will you wear pink Chucks and a tiara?

Yes of course I will!  You make it sound as though I sometimes don't.

February is a little chilly here.  You know, like in the 50's and such... hee hee...

Had to make an emergency trip to the eye doc today.  Turns out I have an ulcer on my eye.   Which explains why it hurts.  A lot.  Now I'm stuck wearing my glasses for at least a week.  I do not have any "sport" glasses so running and biking should be interesting.  The ole rimless specs aren't exactly rugged and tight fitting.  And swimming - swimming could be interesting.  I'm blind as a bat with out the coke-bottle lenses.  Might have to spring for the optix goggles.  On the plus side, the glasses cover up the racoon eyes tan line.

I think we should include a bonus to the team that has the best running legs pic. A little added incentive. Hey Dee it's your challenge, what do you think? Could be lots of extra "motivation" going around!!!

I dunno. The horny melons team has been posting pics, but not of their legs. Maybe THEY should be getting the extra points......
