D001 - 2008-11-26 9:37 PM Actually, I've really slowed down my posting this year. Even so, here are my stats: Posts this year: 8432 Posts this month: 464 Posts today: 52 Average posts per day: 27.14 Average posts per week: 191.18 Average posts per month: 853.93 And here are your stats: Posts this year: 3212 Posts this month: 641 Posts today: 18 Average posts per day: 19.11 Average posts per week: 134.54 Average posts per month: 645.80 All of which goes to show -- you'd better get posting.

ah...but are you taking into account that I didn't join BT until June and didn't start posting until part way through July?

soooo if I had started in january and was consistent in my posting I would easily have 6000 posts.

I have slowed down a bit lately-life got really crazy, but there are quite a few days off school before the year is out.

Housing update:

I still have the guy w/ the condo as a potential roommate.

I had an interview w/ four gals last night about living with them in their house.  They are considering 3 other gals and are suppose to get back to me this weekend on whether I am in...or not.

An interesting developement...

the gal who is leaving the condo in January...turns out that she is leaving this week.  The condo is available as soon as I would like it.  Steve(the guy who owns it/lives there) really likes me.  We have gotten together a couple of times and went on a day hike together.  After the hike he told me that he was okay with skipping the deposit.  (I am super trustworthy and I guess it shows).  He knows that I am also considering staying with these gals and today he offered to match their rent...which is more than $100 less than his original rate.

Nice deal!

Thats awesome! Sounds like you will not be homeless!

Hey Dee- Is there any way to find out if it truly would be a record?

*giggles* hmmm this should be interesting...

Between two December challenge teams, Nibbs, and TAN  I should be able to find a conversation going on somewhere.

Very true - work for me should ease off in the next couple of weeks so Im happy to give you someone to chat with!

Well, we've all be known to sit here and talk to ourselves.... LOL

Ive never been that good at it...

sure is...I am leaning towards the gals-I don't have any close female friends, but in the time I spent there last night I can tell that I would develop a good friendship with at least one of them.  Honestly, I don't have many good/close friends at all.  This summer I was up to two.  Dave left-I don't yet know how the friendship will work out with 2000 miles between us.  Maneesh is here, but our schedules are nearly opposite of each other...and he can be emotionally draining-he struggles with severe depression.

That is at the top of the list of my living requirements-I am fairly sure it will be low stress in both environments.

There are a few ways that the choice might be made for me...

A) the girls might select someone else

B)  If the girls do select me I might find out that I don't have enough money to move-in (they haven't gotten the move in cost details to me yet).  There will be no move in costs with Steve-just the rent.

An added bonus for the girls house...

there is a large back yard with a glorified playhouse that is not being used.  It could be my workout room.   I just need to get a trainer...or maybe rollers.

Happy Thanksgiving Nibblets.

What tasty treat are you looking forward to the most?

I had my Thanksgiving on Sunday-I really enjoyed the pumpkin cheesecake and the Honey Pecan Bars(like a mini pecan pie).  My family has a really great sweet potato recipe as well.

What is Thanksgiving all about? Sorry I am in Ozztralia we don't have it! What does it celebrate, and is it always so close to Christmas? Do you get the day off from work?

It is always the 4th thursday in november and some people are lucky enough to get 2 days off work/school.

It was originally in reference to the first american settlers and their thankfulness at surviving in the new land-the thanks was directed to the Native Americans that taught them how to live on the land.

At least that is what I was taught in grade school.

Most people take the time to reflect on what they have to be thankful for- family, health, etc

Or they just use it as an excuse to eat way, way, way more than they should.

That sounds a lot like Christmas

Sounds like a lot of fun - have a good day!

I've kept the eating under check today but it really is mostly a rest day for me, other than walking the dog.

I ate lots. But I did run almost 8 miles this morning so I don't feel as bad as normal

Hi NIbbs!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Sorry I haven't been around much lately.... life has been busy (I'm sure you've been there)

I hope everyone had a peaceful day so be it with or without family.

I hope to be around more after Dec 14th... hopefully work and life will settle down more by then.

Well, one more hour until online shopping begins. I'm sitting home this year for Black Friday, just doesn't seem like there's a lot of good deals on the stuff I'm looking for.

10k in less than 6 months? Hm. You could ask Marmadaddy. He'd have access to the statistics. Although, there are only 16 people currently above 10k posts. So I probably have the record right now. I can't remember how long it took me to get to 10k. Probably more than 6 months though. Which means that if you can do it, you'd probably have the record.

10k in less than 6 months would mean A LOT of post padding!!!

Its interesting that only 16 people have 10k +
