Subject: RE: Nibbs XLIIIHey...here is a case of my overtalkative nature on the internet being a good thing... I was just contacted by a guy that did a google search on a boat he recently purchased and the second result to pop up was this post I made in a nibbs thread back in 2008. It was part of a conversation about me sailing us US folk down to visit Cat. mchally That's not a bad idea, but it would take a bit more scrounging for loose change before I could come up with a sailboat suitable for the journey. I use to sail on a 33' Carter-an ocean racer. Jadah was a bit homely, but with some fixing up she just might do...I wonder who bought her form the BSA...I am pretty sure she was sold after our all-girl sea-scout unit bid adieu to the boy scouts. the losers didn't see Jadah's potential and blamed her for the stupidity of a guy that borrowed her and managed to injure someone. Now I know...and I can get together with the other gals that sailed her with me and we can probably all go see her again. Plus the new owner with get some fun stories and pictures of his boat's past. Edited by mchally 2010-10-02 4:55 PM
