Scout--the info you gave was great, but I am sorting through it at a snail's pace. Soooo much there, and I don't really know enough to even ask the right questions yet. Am going to get on a plan, which will help me focus on the things I need to know but don't.

It was running, not beer.  Sorry to disappoint.

Everyone have a nice weekend?  We looked at houses.

I live in a house. I look at it every day. I also drive past a lot of houses. I look at them too. I'm guessing you looked at houses for sale? Where are you looking?

I am giving a speech to the American Cancer Society tonight. I'm tres' excited!

I'll give you a really good deal on my house.  It's going on the market this week.

Yes, I saw your mention of the speech this morning.  Cool stuff!

Yeah, well, we figured since we're 99% of the way there with the sale of our current house, we should start looking for somewhere to move to.  Mostly, we're looking in areas that are considered Zone 2 for SEPTA's regional rail system.  Saturday was mostly Springfield and Havertown.

Is that mostly main line addresses?

Springfield isn't Main Line.  Havertown technically isn't, either, although the residents seem to think they are.

I don't mind the Main Line area, it's generally nice enough.

The Main Line is an area of the suburbs of Philadelphia.  It's basically Route 30 / Lancaster Avenue.  The road runs into the heart of the city, and straight out, basically across the state.  The Main Line part is the area that runs from Route 1 / City Avenue all the way out to Exton.  Generally, the neighborhoods there are quite old, and can be rather pricey.  Villanova, Bryn Mawr, and Haverford are some names that might be familiar.

Make sure you buy away from Mntgomery Avenue--I wouldn't want to think about you running there.

*snerk*

The majority of my runs around my current home are on both Lancaster and Montgomery.  My 10 mile loop consists of almost 4 miles on 30, and a good 5-6 along Montgomery.  It's not bad, except in winter when the lazy a-holes don't shovel.  There's sidewalk for most of it (short distance around Villanova and Rosemont where there isn't, but I'm on a little dirt trail at least.

Well, I have managed to learn some important lessons in the last few weeks.  All of them work-related.

IIS and proxying just don't go well together?

Amongst other things, yes, that would be one lesson.
