Am giving away a pair of asics racers, size 9 mens.  Great condition...used maybe 3 times.  Lots of life left.  They are just a tad bit narrow for my feet.

I actually got these from someone else on this forum for free but as I said, too narrow for me.  So passing along.  Would like someone to pay shipping, $7 by paypal to help me out.

Thanks,

J

Also, since most people on this blog are newbies I want to drop a public announcement: if you are venturing out in the roads and trails as part of your training, you need to get yourself a RoadID.  It has saved, not only my life but countless others; worth every penny.  BTW: you'll get a discount with your BT membership.  Much cheaper than any insurance.

Thanks for the advice. I saw them on a couple of running mags and the idea was attractive. I usually run with only my military ID and Garmin watch on. This bracelet will allow me "to carry" a couple of important contact numbers as well. I just received it about 2 weeks ago and wear on a continuous basis. Very unobtrusive!

I strongly agree.  My wife tends to be a worrier, I tend to be nonchalant to the point of negligence.  When I started training again after a ten year (!) hiatus she insisted that I carry ID.  I got a RoadID, the basic level version since I don't have health issues and only need it for ID and phone numbers in case someone takes me out.  It's cool looking, doesn't bug me when I wear it, and it makes the wife feel better.  Me too to be truthful but we'll keep that just between us.  And if I did have health issues I would have the upgraded version that gives you a webpage you can update with all of your info for medical people to pull up if you arrive in bad shape.  And no, they don't pay me either, but we can talk if they want to!

I've got a pair of used Diadora cycling shoes...the model is 'Fast' and the shoes accept both SPD and Look cleats, although I think one of the SPD screw receptacles is stripped.

Shoes are size 44, which, in this case, is probably closer to a US 10.5 than 10 (I wear 10 and these ran a little big).

Good shoes for someone looking to try out clipless pedals.

+1 on the RoadID.  I wear mine almost all the time, partly because I'm allergic to penicillin.  DW asked me to carry something, a pendant or some such, and she's glad I'm wearing the bracelet.  I get to talk with folks about our sport too--kinda cool.

<< TAKEN >> Sheesh, you all are fast!

QR Superfull Wetsuit

Mens XL

Fit from website hopefully still accurate:

Weight: 205-235, Height: 6'0-6'6",

Great for Athenas or Clydes.

I'm just under 6'0 and 225. I have broad shoulders, but someone with even broader shoulders and taller would do even better in this suit.

This suit is in it's 3rd season. I will ship fully repaired (there are a few fingernail tears) and cleaned with storage bag. I have used it twice this season, it has never fit me properly at the top, as you can well see in the photo.

As this is a well used suit it would be ideally suited for beginners not wanting to make a full investment just yet, or as a practice suit. It races just fine though.

the suit just before 2000m swim race on june 5, 2011

I have a skirt sports women's tri top, size XXL - black with pink stitching (the pink is not very bright)

I also have skirt sports women 5" tri shorts, size XXL - black.

Both were too big for me and I made due with them last summer by making a couple alterations to them (I added a drawstring to the shorts and took in the tri top at the sides).  I will leave the drawstring in the shorts (you can take it out if you want) but I will take the stitching out of the top so that it's back to it's regular size - I didn't sew it very neatly in the first place Smile.  They have been worn twice but have been washed.

I ordered myself a new suit for this year so these are free to a good home!

Sorry that I don't have pictures - I couldn't get them to post - but here is the same top and the shorts are just plain black.
