I put this goal up in my december challenge team's thread.

My goal for the remainder of November-break 5000 posts. I know, it's a long shot, but it will get me on the way to the far-fetched goal for December: to get my post count up to 5 digits. I figure it might be a BT record. 10,000 posts in less than 6 months-what do y'all think?

What do ya think. I figure that it will be a good distraction.

Hey Dee- Is there any way to find out if it truly would be a record?

10k in less than 6 months? Hm. You could ask Marmadaddy. He'd have access to the statistics. Although, there are only 16 people currently above 10k posts. So I probably have the record right now. I can't remember how long it took me to get to 10k. Probably more than 6 months though. Which means that if you can do it, you'd probably have the record.

10k in less than 6 months would mean A LOT of post padding!!!

Its interesting that only 16 people have 10k +

I am just really good at conversing.

If I kept going at septembers rate it would have been possible.  Alas, I went back to school and had less time to squander on BT.

I hear you. In my case though, I went to werk and never left.... My post count has suffered the consequences.

Housing update:   The gals decided 'to go in another direction' Undecided

but that makes my decision easySmile

I will be giving Steve a call later this morning (I don't think he would appreciate me calling before 6am on a Saturday morning.

I might be able to move in today!  Depends if he is in hanging around town or taking advantage of the first decent snowfall to test out his newly renovated snowshoes.

Not in Seattle, but you don't have to go far to find it.

Running still hurts   I was sore for the first half mile then felt pretty good but by mile 2.5 I knew I needed to head in.  Slow and painful   BUT, I got to try.  I amsupposed to be videotaped at the Dr's this week so I won't run until we do that and see if she has any feedback to help me.  I did PT pre-run, figured something to strengthen the hip flexors before running was probably a good idea.

I think it's a balance between resting to heal and learning how to train past the pain.  I'm working on "no whining" right now, focusing on the things I can do right now and those things will help come next race season.
