But it felt good. Had to get mucky at one point going up a steep incline cause the guy infront of me kind of came to a stand still and I had to move to not ram into him. So I ended up sort of off balance and had to grab a tree root that was sticking out of the ground...MUDDY!!! Oh well, I guess part of the experience of xcountry is getting dirty! |

I am so sick of being sick. Feels like it's been forever. Sorry you've got the icks Amy. My GI tract hasn't been very happy with me lately either and I'm not sure why. Hopefully everyone in Ghoulieville is feeling better soon. After all there's WAY too much good weather on the horizon for a Village full of sick people! My GI tract is the only thing that hasn't been too upset. I did manage totake my daughter to her appointment this afternoon, and I still feel halfway decent. I'm thinking I will be up to doing a small workout tomorrow. Now I just have to decide how bad my cough sounds, so I know whether to run in the snow or at the gym. Yes. I said snow. At the end of April. Utah weather: you don't like it? Wait 10 minutes. Ugh. |

I left work and headed to the pool. I haven't been there in probably 3 weeks and I finally had a chance to get a swim in. The only problem: as I was changing I realized I had no swim shorts with me. I ALWAYS keep a pair in my bag and have no idea how they got taken out. Frustration level 11/10. So you swam nekkid, right??? I'll see if he made it into the news this morning. |

Would changing the cassette help me? If I change the cassette do I have to change anything else? If a cat always lands on its feet, and bread always lands butter side down. What happens if you tie a piece of bread, butter side up, to the back of a cat and drop it off the roof? |

Do you have a standard or compact crank? Switching to a compact crank will help on the hills too. |

Keep them both though - learn how to change it - that way if you do a flat course you can rock the 11-23. Hilly rock the 11-28.
