Hi cool kids. I need some TAN lovin'. One of the worst days of my life ... not looking to get better anytime soon.

If losing your folks, being physically assaulted, and fleeing civil war with nothing but the clothes on your back is a 10, today's a 9. I'm not kidding about that.

The day ended with me being so tired I couldn't figure out which side of the car to get in on to drive ... and finally flipping off some cops. Those were absolutely the best points of the entire day.

What's going to get better is hopefully I can get a full night of sleep or at least rest. And right at this exact moment there's not a damn thing I can do, which is very good. I'm tuckered out. The circus starts early tomorrow morning and we're dealing with some stuff across time zones so sadly it will be even earlier than usual. ARGH!

Oh, and I'm going to eat some black beans in a tortilla. That will be good.

So filling my voter registration application for the first time (YES! the benefits of citizenship), and it gets to the part of "ethnicity". For background, I was born in Venezuela from European parents. Here are the options:

? American Indian/Alaskan Native
? Asian/Pacific Islander
? Black, not of Hispanic Origin
? Hispanic
? White, not of Hispanic Origin
? Other:
? Multi-racial

So is being born in Latin-America make me of Hispanic origin? I always consider myself a Latino (culture), not Hispanic (race); but I don't know if that is their definition of Hispanic. So decided to put "White, not of Hispanic origin" (after all, I am 6'3" , brown hair, green eyed - not many Hispanics fit that description).

But I am seriously considering changing that to "Other: TANite!"

Its a pitty they don't asl for religion. Would love to put Yanti Disciple" and let them figure it out.
