BUMP. I don't like it when our team falls down low on the list of other Peepers.

First time back in the pool this morning!  The weather forecast basically inverted and we are now supposed to get the light part of it instead of 6-9 inches!  Woo Hoo....might be able to get a trail run intomorrow.

Trainer tonight.

Well, if I can figure out my kids' schedules, which are getting more complicated by the minute, I'm going to get 20 miles of hills in this weekend.

You got that right! Our boys are 8 and 6 and I am already scheduling most of my weekend around their activities! This is the last weekend, though- after today, x-c, downhill and basketball are over-- and we can go back to some impromptu snow shoeing - and also x-c skiing after dinner- as with this early daylight savings tonight, we will have daylight till 7:00- and that's a first with snow (except for a random April storm)

Today I'm going to hop on the bike for an hour and run for 30- gotta think of a way to make that treadmill here in the house not quite so stifling, heat-wise.  Time to get out the fan!  Or I guess I could open the basement door.

Teenagers just get even more fun. Emergency concerts, last minute changes of plans. Makes training difficult.

Got my biking in today. The weather was absolutely gorgeous, it was a shame to stop. But the last time I did 50 miles on a day I was scheduled for 15 miles, my coach got on my case. She made the point that a training plan isn't really a training plan if you are just going to make major modifications to it.

REMINDER!!! Week 1 of challenge finishes on Sunday - PLEASE make sure your team is updated for week 1 by the end of the day Monday as I will be trying to have an update posted for the challenge by the time the USA wakes up on Tuesday morning.

If your team is using google spreadsheet I will be logging on and grabbing your week 1 totals from there... if your team is using another method or reporting please let me know in the team leaders thread and post the results there.

Update will include:

- General challenge gossip from all teams

- the % of goal achieved by team

- Any major individual achievements mentioned in the team threads

Thanks for your help

Cat

OK, so I need to increase my goal because I just exceeded the goal for the month!  Should I wait until after Cat collects the percentages Monday?  What a great problem to have.

WOW, Amy F., you are MAKING US PROUD. And hopefully making us WIN. At least this week. I am sure Cat will give you direction on when to increase your goal. And I agree:

what a great problem to have!!

Just had a moment to check out other people's logs- way to go team!! We're rocking this challenge! and earning our non-peep indulgences too (or at least me and my new-found ice cream habit hope so!)

got in 110 minutes today- complete with my first ever clipless pedal fall- managed to unclip my left shoe and promptly lean to the right. ugh.  luckily there wasn't a car in the right turn lane that i fell into, so all was ok.  For some reason I had a much harder time with the pedals today-- it's the getting in that is the challenge, getting out is no problem, but for whatever reason (my beginners luck wore off?) it was seriously frustrating today.

 onto the new week!
