bad day, Pam?

Not the greatest.
Any more tidey-whitey sightings?
No, thank God. I had a crappy day at work, it is raining and I have a house full of kids who are driving me insane! I do not dare ask if it could get any worse, because the answer is always YES!
Ouch, sorry for the broken suckometer scale.  Kristen would say have a glass of wine to help
At this point bring on the MD 20/20 and lock up all the firearms!

Sorry you had a bad day Pam

but I have to say, this post made me laugh!

I am still favoring the condo w/two M roommates.  My mom still doesn't.  I need to talk to her about her concerns etc.  She said she would prefer that if I live with guys, that they be closer to my age.  I would rather not live with guys my age-especially if they are single-There are evenings when I think to myself that it would be soooo nice to have a BF-I don't want to have any BF material handy.

makes sense to me

although I'd have to say that as a mom, I'm not sure I'd be thrilled about my DD rooming with a couple of guys no matter what their age

you'll figure out what's right

I feel the same way-the room is not available until january and I plan on getting to know the guys before I move in. I have spent some time with the owner of the condo, steve 52yo divorced with 2 daughters a bit younger than me. He is still on good terms with the ex and kids. We have similar hobbies-outdoors stuff-and got along really well together. I went to take a peek at the place and ended up chatting for more than two hours. We had a snowshoeing trip planned for tomorrow(he is teaching a snowshoeing class and it is time for the students to get some "hands-on" experience). The weather isn't cooperating though and the snow has been melted off by all the nice warm rainy days. tentatively going alpine scrambling on of the next weekends-we will each bring a friend.

I want to get a feel for what the guys are like before moving in. Also, the first three months will be w/out an extended lease agreement. either party can decide to discontinue the arrangement during that time.

ETA-the bedrooms all have keyed locks-Steve does have a spare stashed away for emergencies though.

Morning, Nibbs...up enjoying my pre-race mojo bar & diet Pepsi.

Slept like crap last night. First I couldn't get to sleep because I was excited/nervous. Then I couldn't get to sleep because I couldn't get comfortable. After I finally got to sleep a big thunderstorm came through that shook the house. (And we had to rescue our dog, who was an idiot and wouldn't come in last night at bedtime.) Then I couldn't get back to sleep...

And so when the alarm went off a few minutes ago, I felt dead. 2 hours to race time...need to start waking up.

Of course, it's always a good sign when the radio comes on to "Hit Me with your Best Shot!"

At opne point I was flatting in a place with two guys plus a third living in a granny flat downstairs - possibly the best, definatley one of the best places Ive lived... it was brilliant!!

AS long as you get along youll be fine - and as long as you set up the boundaries from day one its all good!

Mums worry but if you get along with the people youll be ok Im sure!
