Hey kids, it's time for another exciting installment in the Reindeer Run-Swim-Bike-FoodLog-StrengthTrain-OtherLimiter-off! When we checked last week, we had a close race, but there were some reindeer holding their teams back. NO MORE! Those reindeer are grounded, and now their teams can fly to fullest potential! They'll soar! They'll leap! They'll kick those limiters in the rear!

I know you are all excited, so let's find out how our teams are doing with 61% of the month gone. It's a close one! Are you ready? Get out your secret decoder rings, and turn them to V-C-B-D. Ready?

1st: Vixens at 66.78%
2nd: Comets at 58.88%*
3rd: Blitzens at 58.13%
4th: Dancers at 56.94%

How exciting! The Vixens hold their lead! The Comets and Blitzens are a hair's breadth apart! Who would have guessed? There were some close calls, a few people squeaking in right at 40%! Fantastic job pulling through for your team to fly on toward the finish. With the teams fielding their strongest members, what will change for next week? We've got the holidays, surely the Vixens can't keep their remarkable streak going? Who will overtake them? Will YOU face your Limiter this week? Tune in next week to find out the results of the last full week of the challenge!

*Comets have one member very close to 40% - his total isn't included in this percentage, but I left him on the spreadsheet in case he simply hadn't updated his logs and I sent a PM.

I love all the money I'm saving not eating out. I made another credit card payment today.(I take the money I would have spent eating out and put it in a separate fund. Then use it to pay down my Amex.)

If I keep this up, I'll be completely out of debt in about six weeks. Had no idea how much money I was wasting. Talk about motivation!

Any updates on team standings?

I told some offline friends about the limiter challenge and my success with no fast food and money savings. We're all going to keep it going offline.

Sounds like everyone has been doing great on their limiter.  I have to track my food 4 more days out of the next 5 to make 100%.  That leaves me New Year's Eve to skip!

Hope everyone had a great Xmas!

Hi team!  Sorry I haven't been around too much lately.  I'm still doing all my PT, but haven't been putting it in my log since internet connections have been kind of hard to come by.  I update the spreadsheet and I am on track to finish at 100%.

After a delay that seemed interminable, we are back on the air to bring you the exciting results as we near the end of this month. Our reindeer are fighting hard to the finish, battling families, flights, and food as they wend their way through the holiday season. Which team will come out on top? Who is going to soar across the finish line? It's all so close, it's all so exciting!

With 84% of the month gone, last Friday's standings give us only the slightest clue about how our intrepid challengers are staring down their limiters.

1st: Vixens at 81.42%
2nd: Comets at 78.69%
3rd: Blitzens at 77.84%
4th: Dancers at 73.06%

The Vixens hold on to their lead! The battle between the Comets and Blitzens is antler to antler! The crowd goes wild cheering the Dancers on to a strong finish!

The suspense builds. This race is not over yet, folks. Not one team made the 84%, they all have work to do to crush their Limiters beneath them. Who will come out victorious? Who will topple the field? How will we stand the excitement??

Stayed tuned for a special installment bringing you the live finish to this phenomenal challenge right here inside your team thread. You won't want to miss it!

Hey folks - sorry I haven't updated in awhile. I've been at home for a week - which was not on the plan, b/c we had to go to Michigan for a funeral. So I was without a bike and internet connection for certain days. Sorry I wasn't able to get to my 100% I've never not fulfilled a challenge goal before. I feel really bad about it - it's not like me.

Hey - Stuff happens beyond your control sometimes and you have to pay attention to life before workout - don't sweat it.  Sorry about the funeral.

Made my 27 days of food journaling and as an added bonus lost about 6.5 lbs.  Tells me how important it is to be honest about what I'm eating - both in quanity as well as quality.

Happy New Year Dancers!

I made 13/14 for 93%. Not quite 100%, but then it was better than I would have done without the challenge, and isn't that what it's all about? Happy New Year.

Hey gang, I'm going to give people the weekend to get their blogs and spreadsheets updated - I'm worried with the holidays some people might not be online, and I don't get internet again until Sunday. Hope everyone has an awesome new year and you all start cranking on your new goals!

Now with our special broadcast, coming to you on the cold winter's night. With a huge bang and a great flourish, our hardy reindeer have swooped in on the finish of this challenge. We have faced our Limiters and grounded them while we flew off into the sunrise of 2009! Each team pushed on through the storms, the weather, the holidays, the gift-giving, the rooftop-landings, the Big Guy getting all nervous like he does every year, and that little Rudolph pipsqueak out front. You stayed tuned throughout this exciting series - without further ado, here are the grand results!

In fourth place, battling injury, sickness, travel, holiday stress and all else to prevail where few others could have prevailed, we have Team Dancer! Their members fought valiantly, and I'm sure they have a big push for the new year.

In third place, with a solid 93.70%, we have Team Comet! They encouraged, they prodded, they pulled, and they soared across the line into the new year!

In second place, battling back and forth all month in the standings, cheering each other on and pushing themselves to the limits, facing down 94.80% of their limiters, we have Team Blitzen!

And finally, the moment you've all been waiting for, with 84 pages of post padding team togetherness and a whopping 96.75% finished, the champions are Team Vixen!!!

The crowds go wild! Reindeer are stomping! The ground is trembling! All the teams join together for a stampede, scaring small children across the globe!

Congratulations to every team member - good work to you all, facing the demons that haunt us through our summer races and lurk behind our winter rest. Hopefully every one of you will be more prepared this coming season to crush the competition under your mighty hooves, and never again will you count this as your LIMITER!!!
