That's what I thought, too!  Apparently, there are two Japanese riders this year.  I"ll have to look into it more.

As far as Japanese riders, this is the first year there are two in the same tour.  There are have been two before:
Daisuke Imanaka rode for the Polti team in 1996, but didn't finish. And in 1926 an 1927, Kisso Kawamuro participated as an individual rider without a team or a “touriste-routier.” He didn't finish, either.

I think you should try for 1500 this year.

I havent been posting monster posts like I was last year.... but we have to live watching started properly from day 1 this year...

Then again... that al comes down to he company... we will see!

Wasn't my fault I ended up in Intensive Care half way though the Tour last year

haha... please dont do that this year ok?

Another reason for not entering your TdF Challenge this year. Someone's got to keep to awake.  PROD, PROD.

Nope.  Just thought it was unusual.  It stood out when I saw him in the start house - I thought he was a girl for a second!

They keep talking about riders (ie Dave, just now)  being on both large rings...
Wouldn't that be cross chaining?
I know for me as an extreme and with mid-line components, that would be near death of derailling.

Am I missing something?

I suppose as that I can't ride (nor run, swim, or even walk on my own two feet)  I just as soon get into following this full-force

It's kind of fun watching with 6yo at side for a while, too.

In your Big Ring at the front... you *should* be able toride the smaller gears at the back...
