Hi everyone! I'm on this team! I'm Lynne originally from Scotland now living in Seattle area    I had my parents over visiting for 3 weeks. I gained almost 10lbs and hardly trained last month at all.  So I need this challenge to get back on track.  Next race is an Oly in September, between that I have 2 swim events and 2 biking events!

Should be fun

quit stalking me already girl

You should be flattered J!

Got a short ride in tonight before the sun went down. Crappy days getting shorter!! I remember when I could ride until 9:30, now at 8:45 I start packing it in.

And note to self: don't ever ride without sunglasses. Even when the sun is going down and you think there is no way you will need them - put on the clear lenses. I thought they were stupid when I looked at all the different lenses that came with my glasses ("hmm, the orange ones are pretty! why would I ever need these stupid clear ones?") and then had to dig at least 200 tiny swarming bugs out of my eyes tonight. Yuck.

I am riding an AUTOBIKE from the 1998.  It shifts for me, works ok on nice flat courses, but stinks on hills.

My first was a Mercier from bikesdirect.com I am not sure if they are still in business.  It was okay for a few hundred dollars.

You can check wal-mart - they have a reasonably price bike, but it is not light and does not have fancy components...

Your LBS might have some used ones on sale or consignment.  New from the LBS is not inexpensive (to me anyway)
