You can't go with him because you need to get pictures of Mrs. Claus for us!

So I'll have to go!

yes.  i remembered.  i lost my head for a moment.

go and enjoy......yourselves.  ahem.

speaking of the baton twirling Mrs. Claus (im actually not sure she does the Christmas parade.  we shall see)

you have to watch the YouTube Video.  she's in her July 4th get-up.

Betty Lambert is her name.  80 years old!

sometimes you step into a life that you think (at the time) that you want/need, and you realize (perhaps) too late that is doesnt even come close to what you really wanted/needed.

at the time my life made sense.

but ive changed so completely in the past few years - there are days i hardly recognize myself - in the process (sounds SO CHEESY to say it) i FOUND MYSELF

this life 'fit' who i was 'before', but now.  not so much.

if i could pick up the people in my life (dont want to make any changes there, they're imperfect, but they're 'mine') and go, i would.

but circumstances being what they are, this is where i am.

but mark my words.  there WILL come a day.

i REFUSE to die saying, shoulda coulda woulda.

stacieb

I can relate to this.

i think a lot of people can, ANN.  which actually is quite 'comforting'.

I've been asked before a couple times, if I could go back and do it all over again, would I?

I have made a lot of mistakes, and broken a lot of bones, but any little change could have changed the entire outcome, and while I'm not thrilled with where I'm at I wouldn't give up my two kiddos to do it any differently. So for now I'll just patiently wait for them to finish school, or jump on the lets get out of dodge bandwagon. I can still take short trips and do things. Speaking of... Do you want to come to NJ with Kim and I to run a half marathon on April 18th?

I'm not free until the 13th, could I meet you there?

Every year before Christmas I volunteer to watch all the young kiddos in the family, and the kiddos of some friends of mine as well. We'll bake cookies, or make pine cone birdfeeders, or I'll just let them run around like lunatics in the basement. I tell their parents they can drop them off anytime in the afternoon and pick them up whenever they're ready. I figure almost everyone has shopping to do, or presents to wrap, or parties to attend, or even in need of just a little quiet time. So I take the kids off of everyone's hands for an evening. I have a friend that usually comes over to help, and my husband is usually around. I have pics of the cookies that the girls, aged 4, 3 & 2 at the time, made the other year.

Do you have any interest in doing a full marathon? I'm considering doing the Marine Corps Marathon in Arlington, VA on Dec 31, 2010.

I thought of you on Saturday. I saw a van in York, PA with a PGH 13.1 sticker on it.

I work a lot, and workout a lot. At some point in time during the year everyone has my kids. I've gone to pick them up at one place only to have them playing at someone else's house I don't know how many times. I have fun, the kids have fun, it's all good. I think the most we've had at the house at one time was 11 kids.

Ladies, This lady knows how to have fun with no regrets... Can you imagine having the steel balls to get out and do that in that get up. Alternatively, be blessed to be so unaware that folks are laughing and just do your thing.

Well, I'm back from the doc.  She believes it to be trochanteric bursitis, which was was the frontrunner for my self diagnosis.  I have a series of stretches to work on everyday and she even wants me to try some run/walking before the next appointment.  Follow up will include some treadmill running to check out the gait to see if that could be attributing anything.  Good news is no limit on the biking, which I was worried about.
