Extreme Veteran 386 West Hartford, CT | Subject: RE: Frostbite Force - Du-December Challenge Another session of rollers completed. I haven't done any core yet, but don't worry, I will. I have a crick/borderline muscle spasm in my shoulder blade that I'm trying to get rid of before I start working on my non-existent core! Have a good weekend, everyone. |

The last time she did it, let's just say that only Marmadaddy had the authorization to delete what she'd done. LOL Hm. Maybe we SHOULD let her write the table. I'll bring popcorn and the rest of us can have a party while we watch the fireworks and explosions. Edited by D001 2009-12-05 12:41 PM |

I removed the FAQ that showed how to write the team links tables after they changed to the "New BT format." Now, you can create a table using the Dashboard feature on your training blog. |

Expert 805 Portland,OR | Subject: RE: Frostbite Force - Du-December Challenge Hey Frosties, Sorry for the large time gap from my first post to this one. I'm ready to get started as of today. I thought I had figured out how to post my goals because I was able to access the spreadsheet last night, but now it says that I don't have permission to access it. Any one know why? While I try to figure it out, would someone mind posting my goals for me. 40 miles running and 14,000 m swimming. Haven't been too active lately so going to try to keep it somewhat light. Thanks. Master 1887 Brentwood, CA | Subject: RE: Frostbite Force - Du-December Challenge Well, race report time. I got home a little while ago and went straight for the ice bath. Feel better, but, for some reason, this race really tore me up. Hamstrings are sore from the descents! Anyways, here's the splits and results: PCT Woodside 17k Trail Run 4/125 Overall 2/ ??? Age Group Ascent = 4,285 Mile 01: 6:27; HR 168; 212ft (467ft) Mile 02: 7:57; HR 178; 555ft (311ft) Mile 03: 8:12; HR 177; 497ft (245ft) Mile 04: 9:24; HR 176; 682ft (308ft) Mile 05: 9:25; HR 171; 584ft (397ft) Mile 06: 8:36; HR 170; 963ft (655ft) Mile 07: 6:51; HR 170; 274ft (437ft) Mile 08: 6:20; HR 170; 045ft (558ft) Mile 09: 7:13; HR 162; 089ft (440ft) Mile 10: 7:48; HR 168; 377ft (465ft) Mile.22: 0:57; HR 164; 006ft (032ft) I went out a little fast to beat the congestion at the trailhead despite knowing the pending 5 mile climb was just around the corner. While I got ahead of the pack and held my position, the negative time splits for the next four miles were the cost of that strategy. My descending has improved, but still has a lot to be desired. All in all, a good day without getting lost. |

Elite 5316 Alturas, California | Subject: RE: Frostbite Force - Du-December Challenge Long run day 17 miles in 20-24 F with fluries for the entire run. I had to actually get out most of my cold weather gear for this one. Unfortunately my water froze so I didn't get any water for the run 8(. I will have to be more careful about that in the future. I don't think I am quite reaclimated to elevation yet.. that or the run just sucked. Last 6 miles were slower than the first 11. In any case miles are miles and that puts me at 43 miles run, 4200 yards swam so far for December. Tough to gage goals this month with Christmas coming up. Hows everyone else doing on goals? |
