ooooooo...news too!!

So, I went shopping after going to the gym. I bought 2 pairs of new jeans (and some other stuff)! IN A SIZE 6!! YES YES I DID!! WOOP WOOP! Huzzzzzaaahhhh!!!

Only 18 months ago I was probably about a 14. That was 4th yr of my undergrad around the time of my med interview. Never again!!! Huzzzzzaaaaahhh!!!

Good evening Ghoulies. I started off the month with a nice 4 1/2ish run with a buddy of mine. They also posted some more pics from my race this afternoon, so here you go! Not exactly sure what I'm doing in the running picture. I'm thinking I just finished scratching my head or I'm channeling some kinda Jackie Chan vibe. Either way it wasn't very nice of them to snap a picture literally about 100 yards from the start of the run. My legs were still a tiny bit dead at that point!

Good morning Ghoulies!

I know I'm posting early, but I got to sleep in past 5:15 so it's all good.

What is on tap for everyone today?

Since I slept in my run will have to wait until this evening. This morning the kids and I are going to make rice krispy treats for the party tomorrow night then go on a hike.

Not sure what we'll get into this afternoon.

I ran 6.7 miles with hills. There was one up and down I had to walk. It's pretty steep and my hamstring didn't like the up and my knee didn't like the down. Other than that I felt pretty good. I think I'm finally getting my running legs back.

If you guys do IMLP I'll come up and Sherpa, too. Or I could volunteer, that may be the IM I do.

Damit I thought I started the month off right and Neal out ran me by 10 miles.

Yes. Aren't you the girl that was crying a last month about how big you are? A size 6 is the opposite of big. I'm just sayin'.

Here's something weird Ghoulies. Yesterday morning I responded to someone in the challenge forum who made a bet with their brother about losing a bunch of weight by Sept. The thread is now gone. I wonder what happened.

Just think of it like last month where Bill outbiked us all by like a 1000 miles.  Yeah, he put in more miles but we all got out and rode some too 

Well, the plan was to leave early today, but somebody scheduled a 2:00 meeting.  Grrr!

After that a nice long swim, and then pack for my trip

Dang Neal. I am stealing some of your miles from yesterday. I didn't get a chance to run at all. The doctors appt was at 2. I was there until 4:30. That is NOTHING to eat for 36 hours and gave 1/2 of blood for various tests (really almost a pint). Needless to say, I was wiped out.
