The 10k would be doable, but, alas, the travel is not.  Doggone financial budget!

I am toying with the idea of working up to an HM this fall or winter.  But it will have to be something that I can drive to.

deehtz - 2010-07-21 10:50 AM This afternoon, I am picking up the 6 year old granddaughter.  I will take her and her bike to the park at the lake.  She can ride the paths and I will jog.  When we both ride, I have to mostly coast along so I think I can keep up with her by jogging.  If not she can ride ahead a little, and then wait for me.  That way she gets a little rest, so maybe we can do the whole 3.5 miles.  A couple of weeks ago, she biked for 2.5 - 3 miles but she zonked about an hour later.    poor baby, but she had a good time.  I think that she does great for a six year old.

She loves biking and playing outdoors.  I hope that continues!
