Champion 6656 | Subject: RE: Ghoulies Christmas Core Challenge ironannekidd - 2010-12-02 12:59 PM In the span of about 3 minutes my day just went down the tubes. One of my SIL's just called to say that my MIL was on the way to the hospital. She hasn't been feeling well and she went to the dr's. The doc wanted to call an ambulance to take her to the hospital. She is old and stubborn and wasn't riding in an ambulance, so my MIL is taking her. I had to call my husband and tell him what was going on with his mom. He is leaving work early to go get our kids, they get off of the bus at the in-laws. While I was on the phone with my SIL my dr's office called. My blood work came back, except for the mutation study. I don't show signs of dehydration, but some of the results have raised concerns. There will be more tests. The good news is I'm going out to dinner with my BFF tonight and then we're going Christmas shopping. She will take care of me. I hope your MIL is okay! I hope you are okay!--glad the results came back so fast though and that you don't have to wait. Sounds like fun dinner with the BFF though! I love dinner and randomness with my BFF! |

Thanks I am glad you are going to have fun tonight, Ann. Hope your MIL is okay. As for your tests... think about this: You know something is not right so it is good that they found something. There is nothing as awful as feeling awful but all the Docs tell you you are fine. I will keep my fingers crossed that it is just a lil' ole thing that can be fixed easily. I didn't get my run in. Now I am going... really I am |

Flying home this evening and the area I live in by Buffalo is getting socked with snow. I am off work tomorrow and I will be playing in the snow all day long!!! All day long I tell you. On disappointing news - my LBS screwed me on my Snowbike order so I have to go to plan B - and until that happens I will be riding my Single Speed Snow Bike. Hopefully the snowmobile trails are getting all packed down today and tomorrow and then frozen down for a long ride on Sunday!!!! Be careful traveling, Bill. I was reading earlier about people being stuck on Rt 90 for 12 hours now because of the snow, and there's more coming. Enjoy your day off tomorrow! Thanks Nekkid - I will go back roads and miss all the mess. Where I go skiing they are only showing 7" of snow - that better change by tomorrow morning - I want to go cross country and that is not enough with how wet it was earlier this week! I might have to head north a little and do some touring around!!!! Seems like the snow is north of it's usual ski area trek but south of the airport so I can get home I am glad that someone who enjoys snow so much is going to get to play in it. Now, except for a light dusting for picturesque purposes.... KEEP IT UP THERE!!!!! |

Champion 14677 | Subject: RE: Ghoulies Christmas Core Challenge Okay, going for a run and do the core work. Then I am going to the annual chamber dinner and silent auction tonight. It can be fun but there are always some of the local evil people that show so there is the potential for some back stabbing and some drama. I have a new dress, some awesome heels and great jewelery to make it all better. |

I even tracked down two of my old race suits...one is normal suit, but the front it verging on see-through...so we will just count that one out for now. The other one is a knee length suit...Guess what size it is? A 24!!...Ya...I got it on though (and I can move)!!...haha...I'm pretty impressed with myself. That number should make sense to everyone...I'm assuming...haha. I train in a 32....yah huh. Off to bed now. Early session tomorrow --warm up at 715. Cya tomorrow. |

Master 3479 Utah | Subject: RE: Ghoulies Christmas Core Challenge ceilidh - 2010-12-02 8:58 AM A while ago you asked about favorite holiday things. I like Christmas a lot. Halloween is GREAT. I also like the 4th of July a bunch, too. Then there is Marti Gra. Okay, let's face it. I like to celebrate stuff! Christmas music: Gosh, there are bunches..... "What child is this?"- because the music is beautiful. You just gotta love when lots of folks together sing "Joy to the World". Actually, I love most all of the traditional songs. There are a coupe of Jimmy Buffet ones I like too. (We go to one really cool caroling party at a friends house. A hundred or so people eating good food, singing songs while kids and dogs run around through the big old shabby house decorated with pine all over the place. THAT is Christmas). Wow. I want to go to a party like that. |
