I am going to take the kiddos, and maybe Kim to see TSO next year. They play in 3 locations that aren't too far away from here, I am going to try and get tickets early so we aren't in nose bleed territory.

MotoQueen 13195 | Subject: RE: 100 days of Ghoulie Power! I'm bored at work. I need to be working on my monthly report and then getting together stuff for the branch meeting next week. I hate that we are required to have a certain number of branch meetings each year. Sometimes there is just no need for one, and I hate wasting everyones time. So, I do try to make each meeting worthwhile. Luckily I have handed off to my Assistant branch manager to do training on remote reference. But that will only take maybe 20 minutes. |

Elite 3144 | Subject: RE: 100 days of Ghoulie Power! Hey gang! Sounds like all you east coasters are having a fun mix of bursitis, sciatica, Christmas trees, concerts, cold weather, hangovers, and other fun stuff. If I didn't know better I'd say it sounded like a Monday! Nothing too exciting here today. I administered a fitness test earlier for one of my guys and I'm going to go for a run over lunch. I'm thinking a nice easy 2-3 miles today because I was asked by one of the Chiefs here to be a running buddy. I'm hoping to get as many people around here as possible out and doing something on their lunch breaks. We're a bunch of typical office workers and we always make excuses why NOT to do something. Need to fix that, and I may as well try and lead by example. Otherwise, it's a pretty normal Tuesday here. Phone calls, meetings, paperwork, repeat. Have a good day everyone! |

That would be great getting the office staff up and active. I hope that all works out. My hubby's office often goes to the nearby park and walk a couple of miles. If I had a shower here at the library, I go out and run on lunch, but alas, showers at libraries are a dream. |

Champion 7546 Santa Cruz, California | Subject: RE: 100 days of Ghoulie Power! kns57 - 2011-12-05 9:00 AM My weekend was fun. Saturday got my t-shirt from the local run club. Rang the bell for the Salvation Army for two hours (part of my Rotary activities). Went to Stone Mountain park for our annual id picture and then bought some ornaments for the kids in the Crossroads village (recreated old town). Shopped at Home Depot and grocery shopping. Sunday worked on getting up the inside Christmas decorations. Got all three trees up with lights and two of them have decorations on them. Last one for decorations is my special tree. I'll work on that tonight when I get home. I gave hubby the TV room tree to put up while he was watching the football games. He started and then said that he could not find the lights for the tree. We finally had to go out and get new lights. So, we buy a very long strand that should do the whole tree. He runs out. So back to the store we go, and the second set he buys, when we get home, they are different. So I reworked all the lights and got the one long strand to fit the tree. Then when it is all up, hubby opens up a box that had been sitting just 3 feet from him all afternoon, and guess what was in the box...you are right, the missing lights! Gee honey, not only did we waste about $40 to buy new lights, we lost about 2 hours worth of decorating time! Anyway, most of the inside decorating is done, and the outside got done last weekend. Now I need to start wrapping gifts. so that is what you call selective sight! instead of slective hearing~ haha

I had very little to eat all day and, well, lets just say that today is going to be a long day. I am off to a HW site in Kings Mountain. If it weren't rainy I'd take a hike at the State Park near there. Have a lovely day! Take 2 Tylenol and drink LOTS of water today. 10-4! or there is the hair of the dog option!? |

I can post a picture of my non-tree ~ non decorated house? Im feeling rather BAH-HUMBUGGISH! and so instead of a real tree this year ~ we are opting for the wood tree I had a carpenter shape and cut out of plywood for me...i then put holes for placing b-lights into from back ~ added some green paint, glitter and a few red glass pieces for holly ~ wella ~ I use candles to get the tree smell!!! this is the extent of my decorating....guess Im burned out from decorating all those malls, homes exteriors and corporate offices in the past ~~~ and my hubby is fine with no tree ~ then he doesnt have to add the 20+ strands of lights I have him add to it! I love a very well lit tree! haha ~ off to my spin class ~ ta ta~ run ghoulies run!!! |

We won't have a tree but I will decorate the fireplace mantel and hearth. That will be our focal point. Our Christmas is pretty low key which will be especially nice this year. First Christmas party is this Saturday and should be pretty fun. Certainly lots of good food. |

Champion 16743 Somewhere I can be nekidd | Subject: RE: 100 days of Ghoulie Power! Good morning Ghoulies! Nice to see everyone who stopped by yesterday. I had my worst pain clinic appoinment yet yesterday. They hurt. How can having needles stuck in your neck not hurt, but yesterday was bad. I was curling my feet up yesterday and she stopped. She even gave me some more of whatever it is she gives me to numb the area. It helped a little, but the whole process still hurt. I was in a lot of pain last night, and I couldn't keep my dinner down. I ended up sipping a 90 calorie can of Coke for dinner. This morning I don't feel that bad, which surprises me after yesterday's experience. I can sort of turn my head, and I was able to put a shirt on by myself this morning. I just hope I don't stiffen up while I'm sitting here today. My doc also told me yesterday no more squats with the bar on my neck. I can do them with dumbbells. I can do dead lifts, lunges, a few other things she said that I don't remember. BUT NO HEAVY BAR ACROSS MY NECK. Got it! |
