Veteran 265 Grayson, Ga. | Subject: RE: Introduce yourself: Georgians Greetings All, My name is Brian and I live in Grayson Ga. I moved to Grayson two years ago from Plymouth Ma., and boy are the winters great down here. Last fall I ran my first marathon the Chickamauga and had a blast training and racing. This is my second year doing TRIs and my big 'A' race is Ironman 70.3 Florida in May. As part of my training for 70.3 I am going to run the half mary @ ING March 30. Also looking to fill in the season with a few others, I like the longer distances but will race anything. I am also looking to open water swim, so if anyone is looking for a training partner let me know. -Brian See my blog at www.georgiaruns.com |

New user 1 | Subject: RE: Get To Know You: Georgians Hi Rebecca, My name is Beth. I noticed you live in the Atlanta area. I am always looking for folks to ride with! I work in Midtown and live in Decatur. My friends are not too interested in triathlons so I am usually training alone. Would love to chat. I have currently completed 2 sprints and 1 Olympic relay. I have been out for about 6 weeks and trying to get back into it. Let me know if you are interested in riding together sometime. I have noticed most people on the site live outside of the perimeter. Good luck with your SC tri. I'm sure you will get hooked! Beth |

Master 2638 | Subject: RE: Introduce yourself: Georgians Hey Wes! Glad you joined up with the BT. It's a good site and a nice place to log workouts - I love graphs. And, those race reports are really helpful. Also, the GA board is pretty active with the group activities. See also North Atlanta Multisport Club. Steph B. here (Doug is brown__dog_us) |

Master 2638 | Subject: RE: Introduce yourself: Georgians I've not run this race, but it looks like a lot of fun. If we weren't racing on the 26th, we would definitely have done it this year. My DH ran the Red Top Ramble this winter which was a similar race and it was really great. If you do this race, please come back and post a report! Steph |

Master 1404 Atlanta, Ga | Subject: RE: Introduce yourself: Georgians This is a new race this year. I would 'expect' good things from it. They are doing a great job marketing it. I would do it if it was on Sunday. No free time on Sat for it. Note: I will be removing these race specific posts from this thread after the race date of 19 April, 2008. Leaving this thread for Introductions only. |
