So, just thought I'd throw this out to my super-spooky teammates ... just thoughts I'm playing with ... and to let you know where I'm at ...

I've lost 20lbs this tri season, and now just want to maintain. I have a feeling my body would hit a plateau anyway ... while I'm still going to watch what I eat and work out, I'm not going to actively try to lose weight (just wait ... Murphy's Law ... will drop more than ever, ha ha). I'm also just maintaining my tri fitness in swimming and biking, no building phases for a while, and--don't laugh--taking a break by just focusing on running a smooth marathon.

I'll be building again for a HIM in March soon enough, so I kind of just want to take it easy for a while, a few weeks. I'm tired!

Welcome, sharkbait ... uh, Travis! I've really enjoyed your other posts here on the forum and it's great to have you on the team. We are a pretty lively bunch and will appreciate your humor!

And heck yeah we are a freight train coming through ...

No worries, Travis, you would have lost 4 days if Cat put you on a *different* team, but with us you're in the clear ... as long as you follow all the other rules!

Welcome aboard, Travis.

Yanti, DO we have a few silent members?  I don't recall hearing from a couple members of the gang yet and there are a few totally blank logs on our list as well.  I realize that some folks may be in a situation with limited on line access and can't post as often as some of the tri junkies around here .  Has anyone else noticed this?

Lurker here. From another team, yet.

We have some silent members too. Same deal -> Blank logs, not posting on our forum, etc.

We're about to organize a RUN to their houses to haul 'em back online. Yes, I said run. And since they're all like 1000 miles away, it ought to get us to our Challenge goals pretty quickly.

Anyway, getting back to reality again.... We have the same deal. There are some people on our team who have vanished. And it's just Oct 4th. Hopefully, they're dealing with "life" and will be back online again soon.

As for me, well, I really need to get a life. LOL

Go Poison Apples! (At least I didn't post huge ugly pictures on your forum.)

Yep, I've noticed the same thing, Judi. I've left "inspirations" in the logs of our missing team members. I'm not above PM'ing them if they don't come out of the spooky shadows to "bump" our thread and team.

Speaking of bumping things, I bumped up my mileage tonight. I added another 2 miles to my tally for a total of 4.9 miles so far this month. I was mostly walking tonight, but got in five 30-second segments of running time.

We'll chat with Cat about Things That Have Not Bumped if they don't appear soon. Challenges usually have a few MIAs.

Way too exhausted to do a regular run tonight (and it really shouldn't be any later considering I have a 10-miler Sat. morn). However, I'm still a bit ahead as I've planned walking miles into my goal.
