Well, enjoy it Ann!  I am just cooling down from my 9 miler so I am starting to feel a bit chilled.  The idea of a hot buttered rum sounds good, but I will have to do with hot coffee ...  french vanilla flavored.

In fact the idea of a hot shower sounds even better! 

Then I am going to try a recipe for curried turkey for dinner!

I'm going to raid the liquor cabinet. I'll let you know what I find.

All I have is rum and rye....

I poured myself a rye and ginger...

And I'm watching Toy Story 3.

I'm here! Well, sorta. I'm at work. It's kinda slow since the wind has been blowing umpteen mph all day and it is trying to snow/hail right now.

Well I am all bundled up for yet another cold winter run...number 2 of many I am sure. The roads are not plowed right now and it snowed overnight and all day so I am sure this will be a bit of an adventure. Double layers of everything right now...Wish me luck!

Evening Ghouligans. Hope everyone had a terrific weekend. I am very sore right now. I had a kick a$$ kettlebell session on Saturday and my entire backside is sore. I really needed that. I got a nice swim in this morning, then knocked off the rest of the weekend chores and errands. Finished the day over dinner & beer with my old soccer team (I didn't play this fall) and had lots of laughs.

Looking forward to a short work week! 

So I went for my run, cleaned out the bike room (it's now ready for my bike to take residence for the next 5-6months..), didd my history for school, studied male anatomy and physiolgy and some GU imaging stuff...now I am tired and going to bed! Woohoo! Night night.

I had a nice yesterday afternoon out with friends. We went to lunch, did some shopping, had some laughs. It was a good afternoon.

I am only working 3 days this week. WOOHOO!

I was just looking at the weather for the week ahead. The high on Thursday is 44 and it is calling for rain. I have the whole family signed up for a turkey trot. I'm not taking the kids out if it's raining. We will stay home, wear our pajamas all morning and watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

The weather on Friday is the same for Thursday, which sucks because I was going to take the kids hiking. On Friday night though we could see a few snow flurries.

Morning!  We had mixed rain & snow here yesterday and today.  Then supposedly just cloudy for Thursday.  Hope so, since we have the Turkey Trot and then driving to see family.

What are everyone's plans for Thanksgiving?

We will drive up to NC on Wed and come back on Friday.  No Black Friday shopping for me.  I'll be working the branch on Sat & Sun, but those days are usually pretty quiet after Thanksgiving.  Everyone will still be at the malls/stores.  LOL

We are hoping to get in a nice hike on Thursday morning before sitting down to the feast.

For the first time in the 12 years I've been married we are having a quiet day at home. If it isn't raining we will go do the turkey trot, the whole family is signed up. After that we are going home to hang out, eat a big lunch and be lazy the rest of the day. I took Friday off, too. I may take my daughter to see Tangled, since I took my son to see Harry Potter this past weekend.

On Saturday evening we are going to a SIL's house to have Thanksgiving with my husbands side of the family.

Hi! Study morning in bed! Which I guess is better than study morning at school...

Yeah I avoid Black Friday shopping too!  Though I will head to the grocery on Friday for a few T-day items.

I have Turkey Trot with 2 son-in-laws, 1 stepdaughter, and possibly the 8 mo granddaughter in a jogger if the weather is dry.  They are planning on bringing her!  Then drive hour and a half to brother in law's for T-day, back home on Friday.  Then Saturday afternoon we have T-day at our house with s-daughters and their families.  I think my husband will help some friends move Saturday morning too.  Then Sunday we can relax a bit before back into the work week.
