It did rain. A lot. And then it stopped raining and the sun came out. This is two days in a row this has happened. So the moisture just sort of hangs out in the air and makes me into a big, stinky, sweaty, fly-attracting mess when I'm running. Seriously, I had an escort of flys towards then end of my run. They were just buzzing around me in circles. Yummy! |

Master 1675 Suwanee, Ga. | Subject: RE: Totally Nutty Triathletes (TNT) I swear I have not died...at least not yet. I have updated my logs through today but I can't get to the Google spreadsheet from this computer at the library. So here is where I am today and I will be going at it hard for the last few days of the month. This hasn't been a great month for me. Except for training and competing in my first Tri EVER, it basically sucked!..Oh well. Here are my totals if someone could post them to the spreadsheet I would appreciate it.

Wow - GREAT JOB Reno!!! I've updated your logs! DEE Reno's bike totals went over 110% - can you please adjust so it doesn't exceed 110%? Actually, we have several numbers that are greater than 110% - we aren't allowed to take in excess of 110%, right? Thanks! Edited by dcrunningdiva 2008-06-27 10:12 AM |

Expert 642 | Subject: RE: Totally Nutty Triathletes (TNT) Well, I put in 10.5 DRAINING miles today outside in the horrid heat! I'm normally up at 5 a.m. before it gets too bad but I took a new "friend" running with me and we left at 8 a.m. It's kinda funny how I know this girl. My friend Tina has a new step daughter and this is a friend of the step daughter. The girl is in high school but she is quite the little runner. She was on track team last year but did a lot of short distances and had never gone past 5 miles. I can't teach people a lot about running techniques but I can sure get them to go farther. She ended up going almost 8 miles with me this morning. Pretty good, huh? Anyway, I probably wouldn't have done more than 5 if she wouldn't have been with me because it was just too dang hot but instead I pushed myself to continue on and did a respectable 10.5 miles and put me over the 100% line. Now I've gotta put in a few more miles to get my 110% in running before the end of the month! WHOO HOO!!!! |
