I did the 10K instead of the 1/2 and listened to the voices in my head!I have a long year ahead of me!If you havent yet connected with BTers in your area, I would advise checking out your states forum. We had a good turnout of BTers from MA, CT and RI. It is a lot of fun to train and race with others "in person" Rebecca tell me more about Tempe Town Lake. I am doing IMAZ this year! I have heard its pretty gross. That bike ride sounds awesome!!! Lisa and Kelly nice totals for February. You are both training regularly which will pay off big time when the season begins!!!! Kevin...thanks for the spreadsheet again  . Let the fun begin!!! |

CLOSED spent the night in the animal er. i left for two hours yesterday to show my rental house. i came home and she couldn't put any weight on her left rear leg. probable acl rupture. will know more later today. it's killing me to hear her cry everytime she gets up. marianne--tempe town lake is not that bad! i grew up swimming in a lake so i am very used to lake water. having said that though, most people think it's gross. lol. i do try not to take in much water. i have swam in it many times and never been sick. it can smell fishy in spots. and i was not impressed with the green slime on me. lol. it is a nice place to swim though. water is usually calm. good landmarks to sight. you should be leaving early enough to miss most of the sunrise problem on the first leg out. if you are bringing family, it is very spectator friendly. lots of places to walk to and course is great for fans. bike course is nice. the beeline can get a bit breezy so be prepared for that but all in all, bike course is nice and pretty flat. there is a little incline on the beeline. run is around tempe town lake. nice course because mostly away from streets. run course is flat. have a great week everyone |

As a fellow nurse I know the frustrations of our profession. I can tell you all Helen is a credit to our profession, she knows what she needs to do in her heart! CLOSED ok. so all was not a bad today. after being up half the nite with poor dog, went to court this morning and found out that prosecutor was in car accident and my trial is continued for two days. now i am not happy about the accident, but much needed the continuance. prosecutor is fine. dog went to regular vet. they confirmed the ruptured acl. meeting surgeon tomorrow morning to schedule surgery. |
