Found a Decent Laptop for $300 for my girl's Xmas present. At first I felt bad about getting a 10 year old a laptop and an iPhone this year but the iPhone is my old 3 and it only cost me $10 more a month and now I'm able to talk to her every day. The laptop is for her play and school and this way daddy’s computer (with porn) is not in their hands and her comp isn't the best but it will do what she wants.

Like how I justify that?

I was wondering how it worked out for you, glad you were able to find a computer for her.

Yea, I was wondering, too. sounds like it's a win-win. No more needing to create hidden folders all over the place!

Troof! and the safe search can stay off on my come now

But it little things like my comp isn't set up to print and little things like that so now she can do her homework in any room she wants then can print it out.

Uh...what????

Freudian slip?

Sup TAN!

We had another Thanksgiving day dinner last night... turkey, mac & cheese with pancetta, broccoli covered with cheese and almond slivers, stuffing, cornbread made from scratch, sweet potatoes with a pecan and brown sugar crust, apple pie, apple cobbler, and home made apple brandy-wine!  OH EM GEE it was the most nommalicious dinner EVER!

I now need to work out like a fiend so that I can fit into my pants again.

I had to stop myself from taking up a defensive position in front of the mac & cheese dish, so I made do with having a third helping when people weren't looking.  If only I could have taken the rest of it home with me without anyone noticing that I was stealing it...

I survived the last few days, which is excellent, as they have been pretty black.

great to have you with us dear!

I get sooo frustrated and down when I'm incapacitated. I feel for you. A stoopid joke to pick you up: Did you hear about the new restaurant on the moon? Great food, no atmosphere!!

That's terrible. Cracked half a smile though. Thanks

Speaking of food, need to eat something but thought of anything makes me want to retch. Any suggestions?

I even puked a Pop Tart yesterday

Rice? Something with fiber to soak up bile acids and digest?

Not a bad idea. I'm going to go with French toast, very light on the egg. Odd choice but bread is good, a little protein, and although I don't want it, the thought doesn't make me gag either.

I was waiting for something like that. Good thing it's true. I don't have to go too far to find them, though. They're always within an arms length of my shoulders. That, my friend, is a fact. I have plenty of experience finding that out.

You had me at mac and cheese. Easily my favourite meal EVER.

It was truly ah-may-zing.  I can probably get the recipe for this version too if you want?  There's no way I could make it a winter staple, I definitely wouldn't fit into my pants if I did!

But I'd be blissfully happy on mac & cheese which has got to count for something...
