Calves are a little tight tonight but sometimes they're that way after "normal" or shorter runs.

All systems go.

Yeah, it seems that no matter how many long runs I do I still get some tightness. My hamstrings are permanently tight and have been since I was a kid. Watching me try and touch my toes is laughable. 

The baby moos are tight! Quick, take the whiskey bottle away from them!

Wow. It seems taper madness has set in early for me. Not that I had far to go.

Uhhhh ohhhh, the taper madness has set in and you still have 3 weeks to go. This should be interesting...

6am and I still can't sleep.

To be fair, a piglet is really any yummy luscious juicy animal-type thing ... so it's not strictly a gender or age specific term. However, it is most commonly used in the context you think it is.

I know exactly what piglets are and I am going with x4.

Isn't indulging in piglets the 4th sport of triathlon?   Crosstraining at its finest!!!

Sitting here in my "Peoples and cultures of Southeast Asia" class, and we're hearing a lecture regarding Globalism and Marxism...I would like to learn about culture....Just sayin'. So I have been surfing the net, finding future tris and mudruns to do...

It looks so beautiful outside---DECEIVING!!! Its mid 40s and windy as can be! I would love to do my 35 mile ride outside today, but with this wind, I know I am going to be spending quality time on a spin bike at my gym....Of course, I could invest in a trainer, and THEN be bored doing that....ug...I guess I just have a bit of cabin fever right now. 

Hell, the progression (or lack of it) of that class is even KILLING ME and I'm not even in it. How do you RUIN something as awesome as People and Cultures of Southeast Asia?!?!

Funny, both my parents are considered experts in that generally and certain aspects more specifically ... my mom more culturally/anthropologically and my dad politically.

I'm so sorry. I wish you could set up a trainer in class.

It's weird. If you can get used to it, riding at home sans any distraction can be very meditative. For like, an hour. Then it is time for TV

Agreed, I have found the same thing with my elliptical!  

I would be out today for a scheduled 35 mile ride (my longest ever), but with 30 to 40 mph wind, especially being the wind that destroys my sinuses (stupid allergies), I am not going to do that. I can also use it to really focus on how the bike feels--and make adjustments as needed. I'm finding more and more 'pros' to getting a trainer! 

Beautiful 65 degree day in Grand Rapids, MI.  Wow!  Incredible for early March.  I decided (after considerable internal debate) to ride the Harley instead of my Tri Bike.  Got to thinking, I have high class problems!!!

Yeah, yeah, rub it in!!!!

I have since upgraded the exhaust to Vance and Hines Straight Shots and forward controls.  I love the feel of the deep rumbling and thunder sound of the bike.  (yes, I was the little boy who always had the most baseball cards taped to his tires when I was a kid). 

Believe it or not they do sell racks for motorcycles that allow me to carry my  tri bike.  I'm thinking of getting one this spring.  Imagine the look of my P2 or P3 in tow all decked out with race wheels cruising down the highway!  Haters gonna hate but I love it!!
