For background, I was born in Venezuela from European parents. Here are the options: ? American Indian/Alaskan Native So is being born in Latin-America make me of Hispanic origin? I always consider myself a Latino (culture), not Hispanic (race); but I don't know if that is their definition of Hispanic. So decided to put "White, not of Hispanic origin" (after all, I am 6'3" , brown hair, green eyed - not many Hispanics fit that description). But I am seriously considering changing that to "Other: TANite!" Its a pitty they don't asl for religion. Would love to put Yanti Disciple" and let them figure it out. {{{MELON PRESS}}} I put Asian or Other. Anytime religion is asked for I put: Suspicious. So what was your citizenship before? Venezuelan? Yep, double nationality (Venezuela and Belgium). I still have the Venezuelan. No mas Bel-geek? |

Master ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() TriAya - 2012-06-13 12:02 PM No mas Bel-geek? Nope. Since I acquired the Belgium citizenship, I lose it if i acquire another one (in this case USA). Stupid rule, but nobody said "les belges" were the sharper tool in the shed. For example: My father was born in Belgium, and my mom acquired the Belgium citizenship by marriage. If my father wanted the Venezuelan citizenship (he never got it), according to Belgium rules, he would lose his Belgium one, but my mom will not. My question was: If that happens, can my mom ask for the Belgium citizenship for my father by marriage? The people in the embassy looked at me like I had ten heads... |

Indeed ... my Dutch and French friends keep pointing that out The U.S. has very strict rules about that. If you give up your U.S. citizenship, you are 1. put on a list of defectors, and 2. nothing less than a heroic act on behalf of the U.S. nation (MAYBE) gets it back. To be heroic enough, you probably need to be dead. Speaking of ... which deceased American's identity did you have to assume in order to become a "citizen"? |

Oooh, put that one in a big duffel bag for me. I can do that, he would even be a good size for you since he is a little smaller than me. I am not sure he is old enough to drink yet but he is really hot particularly with his uni top pulled down. He is a little sketchy as a cox though but I am sure you could train him up right. |

Arizona girls - do you love it there? Pros and cons? Personally .. I do not like Phoenix. I don't really like "city" living. But you can do outdoor training and stuff all year round. You are like a 5 hour drive to the California ocean. A couple hours from pines and snow in northern AZ and a couple to Tucson .. where you can ride up a big mountain! Probably the heat is the biggest thing one would have to get used to. Outdoor training year-round sounds ahhh-mazing. And if it's truly the dry heat everyone says, I would love that. For reference the 70.3 I did Sunday was 94 degrees - with 76% humidity. (and 30mph sustained winds, wheee). I honestly do not mind the heat, it's the humidity 'round these parts that kills me. I looked up cost of living comparisons (can you really put stock in those?) and it says I'd only have to make a smidge more there than I do here. Compared to California or Seattle where it told me I'd have to make at least 50% more. Still thinking on it. |

As in: Best business there is is buying an Argentinian for what he is worth, and selling it for what he thinks he's worth... But in general, Venezuelans are too drunk to hate anything but last call |

It's the usual tradeoff of commute time. Arizona and California both have state income taxes, but Washington doesn't. So we come out a little better at the end of the year |
