I can lift a lot of weight and I've been told I have `dense' muscles, but I'm definitely not bulky. Whatever. Same. I'm not worried about packing on muscle weight. you have to eat a crap-ton to put on muscle weight, it's not going to happen just from lifting. also, i shedded muscle like crazy when i switched from BB to triathlon, you just work so much more TIME that your body devours muscle to keep up. no worries there. Same experience here. I was drinking protein shakes first thing in the morning, pre/post-workout and eating all the time to add about 10-15 lbs (before doing tri's). I tried to hang on to it for the first year after starting tri's, but it gradually slipped away. Totally different way to fuel your body. Yuppers. I'm just now going through the transformation. Had put on about 30 lbs lifting, and since starting tris I've given back almost 20 of that and am still learning how best to fuel the body. Morning TAN! Half day off from work this morning for car issues (again). Grand Prix's have two plastic elbows into and out of the engine block that go to the heater core. Apparently they are the sacrificial lambs so that if your engine overheats, they melt and break instead of you cracking a block... or something like that, I dunno. Anyway, it seems once you have to replace the originals, the aftermarket versions suck and you end up having to re-do it about every 3 months. Yay :/ So, I'm off to the auto parts store and am gonna fix it in their lot... can't think of a better place to be if I need something while I'm doing it. ::sigh:: |
