We needed both!    Maybe now that we signed our striker we can beef up our back line that has let in way too many this year against teams that we shouldn't have let them in against. 

But I do agree with you. 

Yeah, I'm really torn between them and Swansea.  I would love to see either team get in.

So the wife and I have joined the ESPN Fantasy league.  Not a good week last week, but there were a few injuries we didn't know about when we picked the team.  Corrected that today.

How is everyone?  Not too much movement over the past week or so on the transfer market, but that might change soon.

What have you all heard?  Anything worth noting?

Didn't even see that Southampton thing. Wow!  Agreed, that is stupid.  Then again, maybe they think they can be Abramovich?  LOL!

France is definitely good hunting ground for players.  Interesting to see if that continues.

I'm going to be in Barcelona Sunday March 3rd, which is El Classico up in Madrid.  Going to try to find a Barcelona supporters pub when we get there to go watch the match.  I'm excited.  Should be fun.

The match is up in Madrid and we won't have time to get up there and back.  I've found a pub, though, that is touted as THE Barca fan pub.  So we are going to hit it if we can.  Should be loads of fun.

Oh come on!! I'm sure you can make the time, take the AVE (High Velocity Train) and you are in Madrid in 3 hours.  You may have to sleep over but it is worth it.

Speaking about Madrid, they are in talks to send Kaka back to Milan, he should get some playing time.

Pepe is just keeping his skills sharp until he can jump to Old Trafford.  He definetely wants to coach in the EPL, but there is nothign appealing available rigth now.  He will groom another assistant who will take over at Bayern when he leaves

It is tempting.  Very, VERY tempting.

I'm just thrilled to be going there and being there when this game is going on.  That alone is going to be cool as hell.

Either way it should be fun...Barcelona is one of my favorite cities in Spain.

How about Dempsey sticking it to ManU, priceless....It is still very early but I like the chemistry between Suarez and Sturridge, I think that acquisition is going to pay dividends for Liv.

And the smirk the little git had on his face while watching the aftermath.  Would have loved someone to smack it off of him.  Rafa should bench him after his suspensions.  Maybe he won't be on the team after this year.  ABSOLUTELY no place in the game for that kind of cruel behavior.

And no other team and ball boy ever waste's time.  They never are slow to retrieve a ball for the other team and fast for theirs.  They never give their team a towel to dry off a ball for a throw in but ignore the visiting team.  Those never happen.  And I don't care if he was the friggen heir to the thrown, Hazard should be out a minimum of 6 games.  3 for violent conduct and 3 for putting the game in to disrepute. 

Now, I'm totally excited about the final for the two teams.  Couldn't have been a better outcome.

Tell me about it. Oldham beating Liverpool ruined my day. Though deep down I always like to see the underdog win in the FA Cup.
