Sorry, Dee, that your tasers didn't get a whole lot of use.  That doesn't mean they weren't motivating!

I was just thinking the same thing.  Maybe we could get to 100 pages before the TdF challenge starts.

Great job everyone!

And thanks for the encouragement -- it may not sound like a lot to most of you, but with my 10 sessions this month, I posted my most running miles in a month for 2009!!  Woo hoo!

And, I probably posted more posts in a month for 2009, too

That's why the challenges are so great.  I don't know if I would have been as dedicated to training without the extra motivation from the challenges.

Yesterday there was a thread on Tri Talk about a first tri and someone made a comment about the OP just doing her first tri but already having 300+ posts.  He figured she must have been training for years.  I had to laugh, because thanks to the challenge threads I had 1300 posts when I did my first tri and I only joined BT last November.  Embarassed

Ha!  The majority of my posts are from the mentor group, but yeah - 2/3 of them happened between November and my 1st tri this May... and a ton from this challenge

Which makes it hysterical that I'm an "Extreme Veteran" and you're a "Master"...  and everyone, including those folks who are doing IMs (not the newbies like you and me) will always be "Beginner Triathletes"!

I just assumed those titles referred to our keyboarding skills.

Certainly has nothing to do with my running skills!!!
