Hi Ghouls! Ran this morning in the rain. My quads are still a tad sore from the weekend, although not screaming like Melindy's. Nonetheless, I am also going to wear my magic pants today. I don't remember if we had a name for Monday's but I'm going to declare today Magic Pants Monday.

Love it Bill! Weekend was good. Saturday was mostly about running. Getting ready to run. Running. Recovering from running. Sunday was spent with a book on the patio.  It was a beautiful day. Hope you had a good one as well.

Far better to have a Magic Monday than a Manic Monday.  Dang it, now I've got that song in my head as well.

I'm pretty sure I'm prob just being a big baby this morning...haha. I am better than yesterday...but I need banisters for stairs. Mr. Winky and I had a discussion this morning about how I am insane for doing 2 races this weekend. Haha. I am impressive

It is a tired sort of day.

Cloudy and rainy will do that.

and a little bit chilly! The down side of a home office: The dog and the cat are curled up and snoring. The rain is making a pitter-patter on the metal roof. I am reading a boring clean up report with tons of analytical data. I can hardly keep my eyes open and I can see my bed from my office.

Did I mention I need coffee?

If you close your eyes for a few minutes I won't tell. I'm really hoping that soccer practice is cancelled tonight so when I finally get to sit down for the evening I can curl up with a book, my favorite blanket on my lap, and a warm puppy or two at my feet.

Where's that old man that was delivering coffee earlier this morning?

What ever happened to the men staying home to cater to the women?

You're husband is a politician, I bet he could get a lot female voters with a platform like that.

Ya, but we live in the south. The men would kick his , kill our dog and burn the house down.

I was going to ride my bike tonight on the trainer. BUT, being lazy and all... A friend called and invited us to trivia tonight in Asheville at an Irish bar. How could I refuse?

That's just wrong! You don't mess with someone's dog!!!

There is a community here in the mountains that the fire chief announced that they would not respond to any more house fires for any of the relatives of two families (including second and third cousins) because of a feud that started with a dog being killed. The dog owners burned the dog killers house down, then they burned another relatives of the dog owners house down.... etc. There were 10 house fires in a community of 150 people in two weeks.  Oh, and the dog was running free and in the road and was accidentally hit by a car.

I just notice my hubbie lost his azz instead of getting it kicked! how funny.

That would just not be pretty. I have never had a beer in a water bottle before. Not sure how that would work.

I bet a beer bottle would fit in a cage.

We had a bonfire on Saturday night and my friends the the German Shepherds came over and sat by the fire with us. They brought beer. It was a good night.
