Here you go, Allen: Week One. (No idea if the formatting will show up correctly)

Rest day shows as Monday for convenience. Don't take it on purpose. I guarantee you'll have to take a day off during the week either because your body, circumstances, family etc. require it, so in fact do Tuesday's workouts on Monday, Wed on Tue etc. until you have to take a day off, then just resume.

ALL RUNS SUPER EASY. You're going from zero to running. If it's not easy, walk (and do a run/walk for your next).

Bike however you like. Mixed terrain/conditions, MTB if you like, just T.I.T.S.

If the swim lingo looks foreign to you ... ask another Manatee :D

Just got back from my early bike ride. Got 3.5 miles before a rear flat cut things short.Frown Luckily, i was riding a short circuit lap so i hopped off and ran back to my house. I made 16 mins before it hit so the ride counts towards my TdF total!

Looks like a trip to the LBS for tubes and tools etc.

While i wait for it to open, it's time for a hot chocolate drink and out on the MTB around our local trail.

So. Between now and Aug. 19 you need to acquire a basic toolkit in a saddlebag and learn how to change a flat.

Between now and Monday a ride of either 15mi (road) or about 1.5 hours (road or trail). If you need to split that up, try to make it a total of 2 hours or 20mi.

Some kind of a swim.

And a very easy 15-20min run. Emphasis on VERY and EASY. If it ain't VERY and EASY, walk.

I'm working on the rest of your Screaming-Edge Survival 4-week Oly training plan.

oh your bit gonna make him puke then take him to breakfast?

That would be the specific instructions for the swim, yes.

I think he specified charming intelligent beautiful mentor but I wasn't sure when you'd check in again so I went ahead and bit.

I was hoping one of you would know someone, but now you've started i guess you can carry on. Between you, you hit almost one of my specifics.

Intelligent?

Keep guessing.

That Strava could be trouble for me...  went for a ride and wanted to do about an hour and a half but went to a strava section first to see how I could do and went all out, did well top5, but was so spent afterwards couldn't get my HR back down and the sun broke through the clouds so the heat had something to do with it so made it a 50 min ride instead.  Enjoy your weekends I'm off to the brewery.  And my Be Iron Fit copy came yesterday...

Funny, any other person looking at CD in any context would think of everything else first ... Compact Disc, Certificate of Deposit, Change Directory (for the geeks) ... or HECK, in a WORKOUT, maybe ... Cool Down.

However, it actually does mean cross-dresser. Feel free to do whatever with said cross-dresser for duration of 100, or 200, etc.

I wondered if I should clarify that for non-desert dwellers.  It is a thorn with 3 or more pokers on it. aka "puncturevine" (aptly named)
