Master 3479 Utah | Subject: RE: The Ghoulies Are Running a Half Marathon in January!!! I went for a nice run yesterday. Felt pretty good--no argument from the shins today, so I think I'm on the right track to get back on the training schedule. We leave for Disneyland on Thursday. The kids are excited--hubby is not so much, but he'll make it ok. I am just awnry and feeling sorry for myself for no good reason today. I just want to sit here, hubby wants me outside helping him with a half-done home improvement project that has been sitting idle since October. We just got in a huge fight because of that. I have a million things I should be doing inside--kids homework, laundry, getting all of our storage stuff out of the garage and organized and in the basement. *sigh* It wouldn't hurt to do a workout, too. . Nah. I'll just sit here and mope. |

Champion 16743 Somewhere I can be nekidd | Subject: RE: The Ghoulies Are Running a Half Marathon in January!!! So I'm sitting her this morning thinking about what all I'm going to squeeze into the day. I was waiting for it to warm up so I could run. Maybe I could jump on the trainer and do some yoga. Then when it warmed up I could run and then go to the pool. Work Work Work. Then my favorite person in the whole world called and we had a long conversation and she asked what I was doing today. My response was "Nothing, what's up?" She was going hiking with her boyfriend (who is in my top 5 of favorite peeps) and their dogs and they wanted me to come along. I didn't take my dog, she's still limping a bit. I got ready and headed over but instead of going hiking we went in town, there was an ice festival near them so we went to check it out. There were ice sculptures lined down both sides of the street. We walked, we talked, we goofed around. When we were done there we dropped the pups off at the house and we went to dinner. I even had 2 beers. I had a really good time. I COULD have spent my day working out, but I didn't have to. Triathlon and half marathon training all starts tomorrow, why start it already burned out. IMHO I couldn't have spent my last day off any better. I hope you all had an enjoyable day as well. |

Elite 4201 washington state | Subject: RE: The Ghoulies Are Running a Half Marathon in January!!! I am having a really NICE day! We overslept so missed church, but I will go tonight. It is a guest singer/pianist concert so that should be really good. Since that left some time open this morning, I did a brick and tried out a bunch of my new purchases. I went to a tri shop and a running store yesterday. The workout went very well. And DH went for part of the bike ride with me! Then we had a nice dinner out (after a shower! LOL). The sun has come out today, and it is gorgeous. Hope you all are having a wonderful weekend to end the month! |

Champion 16743 Somewhere I can be nekidd | Subject: RE: The Ghoulies Are Running a Half Marathon in January!!! skrtrnr - 2010-01-31 6:45 PM im not even gonna attempt to catch up. I'll help you out... Jules is back and still has a crazy schedule but she's going to get Neal drunk and take advantage of him while he's there for the Escape From Alcatraz tri. Tom is hot, but he won't take his shirt off for the pictures he sends us. Bill sends us pictures of himself swimming, and pics with nice back definition, but he's afraid we can't handle the pecs and 6pack abs so he's holding out on us. There is a picture a few pages back of a hot woman that could either be me or Lola Jones, you decide. Amy has a crazy race schedule and needs help coming up with a training plan. She also has PTSD from going a few days without internet. We almost had an intervention. Robin refuses to post pictures of herself because she's too hot for the servers to handle it, but we are all invited over for wine so we can witness the awesomeness in person. Melindy fits 30+ hours into every day, but if you ask nicely she'll give you a few of the 10 hours she sleeps a night so you can get yourself up to 7 hours of sleep. NJKim passed 1,000 posts and went to a 5 hour Resistance Stretching Workshop where she reintroduced her fingers to her toes. She also may be a Sherpa at a tri in May for a fellow Ghoulie! I'm sure I've missed some things, and I apologize for that, but in a nutshell this is what's going on. |
