D001 - 2008-08-23 4:03 PM <-- Working today. But it's all computer stuff, so I have a Nibbs window open. (P.S. I do NOT get paid for overtime. It's just "expected." So it's not like I'm asking my employer to subsidize my Nibbs-breaks or anything.... Actually, if I calculate out my hourly salary, it's probably below minimum wage. Hm. Maybe I should quit my job and go work at Burger King....)

heh!  I completely understand, been there done that -

although you've been doing it for waaaaaaaaaaaay too long!

D001 - 2008-08-23 4:06 PM I hate Internet Explorer. It keeps crashing. I hate FireFox. It keeps making my application blow up. I hate Netscape. It doesn't have enough functionality to run the application in the first place. Other than that, everything is just peachy.

they all need to play nice together - and they don't!  I feel your pain

Hm, that wasn't post padding. As stated previously, it's... um, something to show the OP that, um, something about their sense of humor is being appreciated... Or something like that, anyway.

That sounds much harder.  Although it would be nice to get feet that perfectly fit in shoes.  It would solve a lot of my problems.

HI Gang....
I survived my first OWS race event....
I just hung in th eback which worked pretty good until the men from the next wave started to catch-up and pass....

A few hiccups along the way... dropped my chain and had the HARDEST time getting it back on... forgot to un-tie my shoes... oh (and you'll appreciate this Bill S) I forgot to take my arm rest pads off before loading my bike on the car (at least that was on th eway home - now i'm trying to figure out how to order from Oval)....

I'll file my race report as soon as the results are up (I'm not sure on my time if it was 2:05 or closer to 2:10)  Either way I'm happy I beat my ultimate goal of 2:15... now I have room for improvement .

Okay, I:m having ot fight my 2 yo for the keyboard now... LATER

Nice job on the race!! Dropping a chain means you have lots of room for improvement.

My tip for the aero bar pads: attach them with spray adhesive.  I lost two (both the left!!) and finally my bike shop used spray adhesive on them and I haven't had a problem since.  even when driving across the country.

Yay Heather!! I haven't lost the pads of my bars. I don't think they would come off very easily. They must be epoxied or something. Our Element is Atomic Blue. We've nicknamed it the Ice Cube

Yeah, I think improvement in finding a new bike shop... it seems the first time I shift on each ride (the f drlr that is) the chain drops....  I had tuned it in myself a while back and was doing fine until I sent it to the shop for repairs after the garage incident, but forgot about it after last weeks ride, and unfortunately TH's ride had no need to shift (no hills)...

I should have thought to glue the pads back... they've been peeling at the edges....

OH WELL.... what's done is done....

BTW Pam, thanks for the tip last week.... I put a stool in front of the garage this morning... and no crashing into the garage
