My cold has finally gone away and I did some good exercise this weekend, I've logged it all now and I'm at 49%. Yay, out of the red! Yay! Glad you kicked the cold AND got some training in. Yay! |

Elite 4372 Connecticut | Subject: RE: Whips, Cattle Prods & Tiaras (Four-Is-More Challenge) Dang Slugger, 19 in a row???? Someone really needs to set the alarm and chat with our girl here! I'd volunteer but I'm a sleepy head. I have a confession to make. I didn't run my 8 miles yesterday. I'll be doing it today (normal rest day) so don't get all taser happy quite yet. What a lazy weekend for me! I spent too much time eating and drinking to do anything else. Although I did make it to mass yesterday and taught ccd. That was it. I ate and drank the rest of the weekend away. Yikes. I suck! |

Nothing says recovery like free tequila! They even had the man that delivered said machines on hand to make sure they continued to work properly and to make sure they continued to be full. We also had our own team massage therapist so no long lines for massage. Gotta love it! I am joining your team. I don't even have a (road) bike. I don't care.No worries! You can ride whatever kind of bike you need to... but I don't think stationary bikes work all that well. Yes, it's a goooood team to be on. I actually was willing to do so before I knew about the margarita machines and massage therapist. When it came down to deciding I went with the team that offered sleeveless jerseys . I did write up a detailed report of the first day of the ride but I put it in my other blog. It will give you something to do in the middle of the night tonight! |

Sounds like it was quite the adventure. Maybe even as adventurous as getting through all the pages on this thread? Well, you know it's a good weekend when you spend a good majority of it half clothed. |

I haven't logged the rides yet (I did the MS150 this weekend) but let's just say... hilly (13,000+ ft. of climbing?), oh, and imagine the heat of south Georgia... then add about 10 degrees to what you might imagine that might be. I think it was about 96 or so. My legs are surprisingly cooperative (though maybe DOMS will get me tomorrow) and I *think* my girl parts have forgiven me. Yeowser! I'd blow kisses to the girl parts to help them heal, but I think that would be inappropriate, and Blake would get jealous. Congrats on the ride! lol. Tooooo easy. |

Master 2201 Elgin, | Subject: RE: Whips, Cattle Prods & Tiaras (Four-Is-More Challenge) Against better judgement and on very tired legs I am going to run the unit's PT today, which is a boots and uts 1 mile run followed by the obsticle course. I am more worried about the obsticle course than I am the run. And tonight I will run with the running club. After all that I am really going to need a bear afterwards. |

Way too much work with to little time. I have a little bad news. My knee injury has been acting up again when I try to run. I was told part of it is that I need new shoes but most of it is building slowly and working it out properly. I will do the best I can for the runs. I also am going to get the rest of the stuff done if it kills me. I am going to do 2 workouts today. consisting of hopefully 2 swim sessions and a total of 4 all out bike sprints. (a weakness of mine) I also am hoping that this month calms down a bit so that I can be on BT a lot more like I used to be. |

I plan on squeezing in a core session and possible some biking miles as well today. The month is half over so I hope everybody is ready to give it all we got and bring home the callenge. |

Master 2201 Elgin, | Subject: RE: Whips, Cattle Prods & Tiaras (Four-Is-More Challenge) By the way, I could tell my body was tired on the obsticle course, sine I was struggling to complete things I normally complete with ease. Also my legs gave out on me when I tried landing from about 3 foot and landed on my rear. It was kinda funny actually. |
