Well thanks Todd.  Maybe after my ride tonight I will enjoy one!  (But only one..otherwise there might be some actual puking on my run tomorrow morning!)  And yes I know what you are thinking...she's a lightweight!  And it's true!

KelliD - 2009-05-05 2:00 PM In case there was anyone else thinking of trying it today.....I just tried the lick and sniff....CHLORINE!

LMAO!  I just licked myself and got a little excited ~ oh wait... I almost forgot to sniff.
Yep, "chlorination... put your swimmy fins to work"  (that is set to the polination song from Grease 2 - incase you were wondering)  I am/have lost it for sure...

I will have a beer for each of you tonight, especially you Besty.   Hopefully it will make my a$$ feel better.

And if you're reading that and thinking "huh?" you will need to check my TL.  It's NOT what Justin is immediately thinking, I swear.

OK, HR was just in my office and there have been some complaints. Apperantly it is not the time and place to be licking and scratching yourself in a work setting. I know its weird but I have no sense of smell so I have no clue if I am smelling like a pool. So I dont think I can go ask anyone if they want to play scratch and sniff.

Yes, Happy Hump Day ~ half way through and picking up speed for the weekend...

I had fully intended on partaking in a few or maybe even several adult beverages last night, in celebration of the stoic holiday that is the 5th of May... However, I did not... I enjoyed the last beer in the fridge while I ate my dinner (chicken tacos and easy taquito enchiladas)  Maybe not the healthiest of choices (the taquito enchiladas) but they are tastey.  I think that was a good show of support for the given holiday... the beer was a Zeigenbock (dark) Shiner knock off bottled by Budweiser, exclusively for Texas to compete with Shiner... In case anyone cares! lol!

Just found out our Regional VP was at the 5K we were at this past Saturday.  Didn't see him though.  *Whew*  Don't think I want him seeing me in my running attire.

Seeing you in the running attire wouldn't have been bad... BUT, running past him at warp factor eight...as you laid down your new 5K PR... he may not like getting "chicked"!  lol!

I wouldn't mind this so much.  But, one of the partners at my firm (there's only 29 of us here) goes to the same pool as me, and actually lives 2 blocks away from me.  Thank god he goes to the pool in the evening!!!  Otherwise, worst and creepiest interaction ever!

Doesanyone use any of the Zoot tri shoes or know anyone that runs in them?  Good reviews, bad reviews?  Any chafing/bliser issues?  I've been thinking about giving them a go, and I happened to find a really good deal on them.

A bathing suit would be much worse!

And yeah, I beat him.  He said he stayed in the back with his girlfriend so I am not sure what his "real" time would have been.

I have the bright yellow ones. I'm haven't run sockless with them, but I've had no issues and they are extremely light!
