Well this is a quiet thread today

Time to head out for the weekend.  I am doing a test run tonight and if all is good then I am back on schedule tomorrow and I will bump my goal back up a couple.  If pain follows then I am sticking where I am and heading to Chiro on Monday.

You guys have a great weekend.  I will drop by here and there and try and keep up.

Remember when we hit 100 pages - Time for a new (yes another one) thread!

Have a great Friday everyone!

Good luck with the test run Bill. We'll be pulling for ya!

x2.  hope it goes well

Tried the run out and it failed miserably.  I walked a Y lap and then said I will run 1/2 lap and see how it feels - it loosened up a little so I walked the other 1/2 lap.  Then I tried again and I could feel the tightness/pain so I gave up and declared no running until Monday.

so sorry Bill.  hope chiro can do the trick.

Just got back from lunch, and they were serving Mongolian Barbecue today. Good stuff! Now I just need to figure out what to do for dinner.

Ah!  Now I have an excuse for not cooking dinner.  I think we're going out tonight.

Is that goofing off enough?  I don't feel like I'm doing the day justice.

Sorry it's still giving you problems.  Maybe a weekend of rest will sort it out.

Good job! Anything 3 miles or more on the dreadmill is torture for me. Staring at a wall for that long just isn't right. KIU!

Morning: sleep in. No question.

Afternoon: touch football in the mud. Either that or golf if I can't get some teams together.

Evening: cold beers and the Big Lebowski.

TOM.

football in the mud, im SO there....that leaves how many more people to recruit?!

I would take a break from doing absolutely nothing to play football in the mud. Can there be beer after the game?

Of course there would! Last year I was invited to play for an annual Thanksgiving game my friends put on here in town. The game clock was a bottle of Wild Turkey that people would have to drink out of if there was a really good or really bad play. Good times!

If there is a bottle of Wild Turkey American Honey I'll just sit the bench and keep it company

Well SOMEONE would have to keep it safe. Way to be a team player and volunteer for this most-important position! You still have to come in and get muddy though...

Just got firewood delivered.  Where is "loading a pickup truck full of wood into the woodshed" on the training log?  Smile

but i can see where this one will leave some scratching their heads, and asking 'wth?'

theres an odd bent to this story [much like Mr. Magoriums Wonder Emporium, or Bridge to Terabithia or Lemony Snickets A Series of Unfortunate Events]

you have to suspend your disbelief, and allow yourself to be immersed.

but, i highly recommend that you go and see it, and decide for yourself.

i will say, just as a heads up, that it could frighten very young children.  though i didnt hear anyone crying or see anyone leaving the theater.

though.  admittedly.  i cried my way through the movie.  not cuz i was scared...just cuz, well im like that when i go see and movie and i love this story.

my youngest son started bawling too when Max left for home....sensitive that way, like his mom.  :*)
