FWIW, I am wearing what I always wear in the morning at the office. My nightie top and my robe. WOOT! I sent my resume in for 4 different jobs where I could do system administration stuff from home. I want to work in my fuzzy bunny slippers. Crossing everything that one of these plays out for you Ann. Thanks Kim. I have a phone interview this afternoon, but it's not for one of those jobs. My interview is for a network engineer job. It would be almost an hour commute, but the environment is pretty laid back, the hours are flexible, I wouldn't be a contractor, and I'd have benefits again. I know a few people who work for this company, they've put in good words. I have problems spitting out the answers to questions though. It's not that I can't do the work, I just can't say it. If I could have a chat interview I'd nail it! I am the same way. I get at a loss for words. BREATHE. THINK. then SAY. (though it doesn't work too well for me except in hindsight). I think I stumble on the breathing and thinking part, so I screw up the saying part. |

It is going to be a stellar day. How cool is that? Makes for not getting a whole lot of work done, though. I could watch that all day long. I think that is what tipped it for me this morning. I don't have any meetings that I can't dial in for and half the office is on vacation anyway. So, it was stay home and work from my kitchen counter watching a robin build a nest or go in and have to wear headphones because loudguy has moved into the office behind me. Easy decision. WFH and watch the robin. |

No? Never heard of Carl's. I think CA has Jack In The Box, too. If you have "Hardee's" out there, it's the same exact thing. It's Hardees in Iowa. I may or may not have been addicted to the Monster burger (aka calorie bomb) back in my bigger days Is it still a really happy starfish dude for Hardees? We clearly do not have as many fast food places in Canada as you do in the States...Half of the places that were mentioned today, I have never actually heard of before. Well except for Chic-a-fil? (prob spelled wrong) because Bill always talks about it. Haha. As a random aside..it really makes me sad that we do not have IHOP in Canada...I don't know why, because its not like IHOP is any different from any other bfast restaurant, but I really like IHOP. Haha. I don't think it's an actual starfish. I think it's just a regular ol star with a smile. I can't see them being fish related in any way. Shhhhhhhh Neal. I like him being a really happy starfish dude. I made him fish related because it was California...I don't actually know why...I just automatically saw star and thought "starfish"...Don't ask. |
