I'm not trying to offend because I think you are smart and fantastic.  I told you that I seek out your posts knowing they are going to be intelegent...

BUT, if a guy gets divorced 6 times and says each and every time the woman was crazy, I can believe that for the first couple, but after that, he may need to look at himself a bit harder.

Do you think that maybe you get bored easily or don't fit into the normal work dynamic/structure?  Maybe you need to find a job that's more indipendent or work for yourself (if you hate your boss then, there really IS a problem!)

And bachelorism starts up again...  Good and bad with that.  These have been stressful times - I hope it's worth it in the end...  (as in she scores a HUGE hollywood blockbuster and I can just live off her money and sell burritos on the beach in Cali between my tri training and catching waves).

not offended at all.  believe me, my mom spent my teens/20s quitting job after job because "everyone was out to get her."  at every single job.

i absolutely get bored easily.  i didn't have this problem in process/manuf. engineering.  every day there is crap to fight on the production floor, and a different problem to solve.  perhaps it is project-based work that is the problem?  the slow progress, the repetetiveness?

also, i had really specific issues with my previous bosses and i tried to handle them like a grown up "i need more coaching, i need clearer expectations, resources, support, blah blah blah" and never got any of the help/support that i asked for.  so eventually i stopped asking, and maybe grumble over the dissatisfaction too much?  which i am partly to blame for, i should have pushed more.  and here, i really should push more for work but i'm completely intimidated by the personalities here (auto industry...different beast) and my boss is being incredibly hands off in the assigning work department, so my colleague is just keeping all of the work.  eh.

I WAS thinking of doing a ride in Big Bear (70 miler or 100 miler), but Tala is going to go to Cali so I may go with her.  Bring my MTB for some trail riding or the road bike and ride the PCH for 3-4 hours.

gah!  I keep getting calls from a 215 number.  I KNOW it's a computer generated sales call because it always leaves a 1-3 second blank message...  It's 3-4 times a day.  I guess I need to answer just to tell them to go to hell so they stop calling.

Well, I try to see what's happening and maybe we can hook up.  Maybe visit our speed skater friend.  Up for a slow run/ride?

Tala has an interesting habit of trying to coordinate all our trips when she is driving and I'm at work (cuz she's bored) instead of sitting down with a calendar the moments she's here - so it's hard to coordinate.  I have trips to Denver, STL, Cali, Minn, AZ, and South Africa appartently in the works by the end of the year.  Blah
