It really motivates and allows you to go all out on those sprints!!! Doh! 87 degrees in a pool is like swimming in a giant petri dish! Hm. Thanks. It's not enough to keep an eye out for the cockroaches. Now I need to worry about something that I can't even see.... |

Time to step it up... way too many people in the red right now. Have I mentioned lately that I don't like to not win??? Go forth and train. Post padding later. Keep post padding...forget about Mila...she's such a kidder...she could care less whether you win or not... Don't try to distract me with that yellow shirt avatar. I'm very, very busy training... or uploading pictures... or something like that. Don't you have work to do in your Hiya Sal!!!! Yep. He has the Sparco Yellow shirt back on. Caramel... mmmmmmmm. Way too much work with to little time. I have a little bad news. My knee injury has been acting up again when I try to run. I was told part of it is that I need new shoes but most of it is building slowly and working it out properly. I will do the best I can for the runs. I also am going to get the rest of the stuff done if it kills me. I am going to do 2 workouts today. consisting of hopefully 2 swim sessions and a total of 4 all out bike sprints. (a weakness of mine) I also am hoping that this month calms down a bit so that I can be on BT a lot more like I used to be. No no no - no deaths allowed. We're prefer that you didn't kill yourself --> it would cut down on the challenge roster for next month. In all seriousness: It's a challenge. It's not worth injuring yourself over. If you're dealing with an injury: you may reduce your running goal. |

Turns out I have an ulcer on my eye. Which explains why it hurts. A lot. Now I'm stuck wearing my glasses for at least a week. I do not have any "sport" glasses so running and biking should be interesting. The ole rimless specs aren't exactly rugged and tight fitting. And swimming - swimming could be interesting. I'm blind as a bat with out the coke-bottle lenses. Might have to spring for the optix goggles. On the plus side, the glasses cover up the racoon eyes tan line. Oh NO! That sucks hard! I hope you heal up soon. Maybe (don't tell Dee) take time off of swimming? I can't imagine the chlorine is good for it? Hmm, I don't think this is a good case for tasering. Does that make me a bad team member? Good point -- Can you swim with an eye ulcer? |

MotoQueen 13195 | Subject: RE: Whips, Cattle Prods & Tiaras (Four-Is-More Challenge) Howdy team. I see, Dee has been busy posting. Got my swim in. The knee was so so. I could not do any kick drills, so it is mainly my arms that got the workout in. I can bend the knee better though, so that is a big improvement. Tomorrow I will give the bike a go on the trainer. That is going to be the big test. |

Vodka-flavored whoopie pies? Just go with it for now. She was having a moment. It's all good. I'm still going to move in with her but I'm playing hard to get for awhile until we can come up with a plan for identifying her random garden peppers and we can make sure the cats and dogs will all get along. My cat is vicious. I have some concerns. Maybe we'll feed him vodka flavored whoopie pies and he'll mellow out.

It no longer hurts to have a left eye. Seriously, on Saturday I could have sworn that someone had jammed a cattle prod in my eye and left it there. It took lots of ibuprofen and a few vodka tonics to make me feel even close to human. |
