Suarez - with teeth like that I think it has to be compulsive behaviour for him!...all kidding aside - he should be done from Liverpool - sell him overseas. Cardiff - they have a reputation for violent fans so should be interesting to see next year with some Inter-Welsh rivalry against Swansea and the rekindling of the 80's scenarios with the Geordies and West Ham.... |

Robbie Earle and Robbie Mustoe - "experts?" - stretching the definition I think Lee Dixon and Graeme Le Saux - play by play - should be entertaining as they were both Full backs and not renown for tactical or exceptional football brains.... Should have stolen some of SKY's on air talent... |

Yeah I'm a West Ham supporter in my blood but I remember those times, Cardiff have a reputation a bit like Leeds in that department. Could be interesting/bad. |

Unfortunately, with what Ayre has said, he will be staying. Which is sad. So much for "nobody is bigger than the club". I guess they are. And I've been on some of the Liverpool boards (like KopTalk) and would you believe there are some numpties there actually defending him!?!?!?! WTF is wrong with my team? |

Just looking ahead thinking they might not make it an entire season depending on their quality. |

Expert 1207 Parker, Co | Subject: RE: Any REAL football fans here? Not sure - but at least its not Gus Johnson!!!...geez that guy was horrendous... I would think that NBC is keeping cost low until they see the viewership figures and advertising revenue. If it shows promise they will invest in more talent and recognized names ...but it will be revenue based. |

Looks like it is going to be an all Germany final. My goodness. Who would have thought it? |

Expert 1207 Parker, Co | Subject: RE: Any REAL football fans here? Could not be happier to see Moaninho get his A$$ handed to him....hopefully they can do the same at the Bernabeu - the whole Dortmund team cost $40M or so - thats less than Cron himself...where was he today? - the goal was a gift.... I firmly believe that you can forgo the extremely talented and visible transfer market and build a team with talented overlooked players and compete The "Real" magicians and "Special ones" are the two german managers/coaches...because they do actually participate in the coaching side of their teams and have blended their players to perfection. |

Expert 1207 Parker, Co | Subject: RE: Any REAL football fans here? The whole "leaving" your feet argument for Red has got out of hand - saw the Houston game and the Brad Davis red was not - in the EPL, Giroud was not a red last week and several others can be named as well....seems to be a lack of common sense among refs - lots of yellows for just basic fouls or reaction by players to a bit of contact...its a shame because it ruins games for the most part |

And it wasn't a clear goal scoring opportunity either. Just a horrible, horrible call.

Interesting. http://espnfc.com/news/story/_/id/1430531/major-league-soccer-match-officials-vote-unionize?cc=5901 Will it improve the quality of refs we have on the pitch? I have a good friend that is an assistant ref. I'll have to get his take on it, if he will give it to me. |

Yesterday was a fabulous day to be a Villa fan; especially given the horrific season to which we have been subject this year. I still don't know whether I will be relieved or upset at the end of the season, but, man, yesterday was a fun ride. |

Bcozican - 2013-04-30 11:29 AM Since when has unionizing been a precursor for better performance? :-) Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know. My friend is good. He is one of the guys that is also involved in reviewing performance, etc. And he has been involved in some great matches. He also gets calls from press to make comments on other calls. I have a feeling it will NOT have a positive affect, but I'm not entirely certain it will have a negative one either. I have a feeling it will ultimately have a net neutral effect on the quality of calls. |
