Yeah.  I wasn't terribly impressed with their choices.  Then again, they can't all be Sir Ian Darke. 

Could not agree more!  I'm sick of his behavior, WTH is wrong with him? he's a poor reflection on the game and frankly I'd rather not see him in a Liverpool jersey again.

Yeah I'm a West Ham supporter in my blood but I remember those times, Cardiff have a reputation a bit like Leeds in that department.  Could be interesting/bad.

Unfortunately, with what Ayre has said, he will be staying.  Which is sad.  So much for "nobody is bigger than the club".  I guess they are.  And I've been on some of the Liverpool boards (like KopTalk) and would you believe there are some numpties there actually defending him!?!?!?!  WTF is wrong with my team?

And Lewandowski with 4 today as Dortmund wiped the field with Real.  Looks like it is going to be an all Germany final.  My goodness.  Who would have thought it?

Fire got hosed on a straight red against Montreal on Saturday.  Absolutely HORRENDOUS call.  Still ticked off about it.

Yes it does, and if you get a chance to see the Chicago red, the player fell over his own damn feet.  And it wasn't a clear goal scoring opportunity either.  Just a horrible, horrible call.

Will it improve the quality of refs we have on the pitch?  I have a good friend that is an assistant ref.  I'll have to get his take on it, if he will give it to me.

Just thought I'd pop in (as the board's lone Villa fan) to say: BENTEKE!!!

Yesterday was a fabulous day to be a Villa fan; especially given the horrific season to which we have been subject this year.

I still don't know whether I will be relieved or upset at the end of the season, but, man, yesterday was a fun ride.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.  I know. 

My friend is good.  He is one of the guys that is also involved in reviewing performance, etc.  And he has been involved in some great matches.  He also gets calls from press to make comments on other calls.

I have a feeling it will NOT have a positive affect, but I'm not entirely certain it will have a negative one either.  I have a feeling it will ultimately have a net neutral effect on the quality of calls.
