Been using my pool after runs as a sort of ice bath - seems like it really helps with recovery. We have the heater off and its probably around 45-50 degrees - Have a good day everyone I did my first ice bath of the year yesterday after my longish run. I ran for an hour and twenty and this was the longest run I have done since hurting my knee in Sept. So I thought an ice bath was a good plan. Of course here at this time of the year the water coming out of the tap is soooooo cold that you do not need to add ice.. I was screaming. Seriously. Wonder what the neighbours thought????? |

CLOSED update on zoey---after taking the appetite stimulant, she ate for the first time sunday night. she is eating and drinking very little for a 90 lb dog, but she is eating and that is the important part. last nite was the first nite I haven't had to sleep with her. my bed felt nice and I slept like a baby. keep fingers cross things keep moving in this positive direction! |

CLOSED I"m luckly enough to have meet many BT'ers.. there is a large group of us in the dallas area, and we'll have get togethers to watch kona or tdf, plus train together. I've lost count of how many people I've never met but have let crash at my house when they come into town for a race. this is truly an awesome site |

We talk alot pretty regularly. I train regularly with the local BTers and we have get togethers before and after races. Training would not be nearly as fun without BT! I have been part of my "original " mentor group for over two years. We are still together  . |
