Actually tonight my mom's dementia was pretty funny--I made this German dish for dinner, part of which is extremely tricky to make ... My mom kept telling me how amazing I was and how perfect the dumplings were and how hard it was to make them ... and then she'd keep telling me again and again and again since she'd forget she just told me.
