Elite 3460 Slackerville, USA | Subject: RE: Ghoulies October: Team BT I'm a little behind on my goals. I was going to go for a ride at lunch and run tonight to catch up a little but with the guy visiting from out of town, we are going to lunch. At least I'll get a run in tonight. I have an interview tomorrow so no workout during lunch then either. I'll try to get the extra workout in on Wednesday. |

I'm a big cheesecake fan. I've alwyas liked it. My wife hasn't. When she was growing up, her mother used to make this stuff she called cheesecake that was basically philly cream cheese with flavor added. We would go to work parties and banquets where they would have cheesecake for dessert and she wouldn't even touch hers. Bonus for me, I could eat her cheesecake (no euphemism intended). This went on for probably ten years. So one time I ask here about her mother's cheesecake and she explains and I tell her that's not cheesecake. Finally one day she tries a bite and I haven't had two cheesecakes at one of these dinners since. You ruined it for yourself! Terrible... I don't eat meat very often so my husband usually gets extra meat, but criticises (friendly) me about it. Lately I have been trying to increase my meat intake and he complains when I fork some of his portion... He can't make up his mind! The other day I told him that I might start integrating some high quality meat into our diet and he mentioned cost. Would you men (or steak loving women) complain that I wanted to make you only the best cut of steak? We took steps to increase our meat intake last year. It hasn't hit out budget too hard either. The sister of one of our friends has a farm with pigs, cattle, etc. They call occasionally when the have an animal ready for slaughter. So far we picked up a pig and a cow. Its better and fresher than anything we've bought at a store or had at a restaurant and ended up costing us about $2 a pound. Now any time we want a roast or some steak or ham for dinner or some tasty bacon or sausage for breakfast, we just grab it out of the freezer. No complaints here. I think he may have gotten the idea that I plan on eating high quality meat every day, which isn't the case. Bit by bit or else I will just push myself away from it again. I currently dislike meat because of the inconsitencies (cartilage, chunks of fat, tough spots... bleck), but find that if I make it myself with a good cut I can avoid those problems. The only meat I eat regularly is chicken breast because there is nothing non-meat attached to it and if you get someone who knows how to cook it's hard to mess it up. |

You could put on a headlight and cycle after dinner? I prefer not to cycle in the dark as well and I don't have any lights. |

I had some lights that I was using but noticed the last time I went out for an evening ride that they kept turning off. Even with lights I don't dare go out once its completely dark. I just don't trust people out there on the roads. |

I just don't trust people out there on the roads. Yeah, it's too bad that bike lanes aren't more prevalent where I am. In fact I haven't seen any since I moved to this province. It doesn't help that most drivers seem to hate cyclists. I don't like riding in the street and just recently I got off of the sidewalk. I only stopped doing that because pedestrians kept getting in the way even when I was courtious with bell ringing and slowing down. I still panic every time I'm passed by a bus or large truck. |

Often he'd bring two cakes to a function because (I saw this happen more than once) a woman would try a piece then go into a frenzy and just stick her fingers in the cake. But it was not as good as the sex, no. Does this make me old school if I remember Cake Boy?? Oh Bill. You poor, poor thing. Yes |
