Subject: RE: Ironman Louisville : Official ThreadHi everyone. Looks like the racing is going quite well for many of you. I have a HIM July 9th and I am really looking forward to it. I had a sprint scheduled this week that has been moved to mid August. bummer I am sure it is normal, but I am starting to question my training. I have loosely been following the Be Iron fit Competitive plan, but life has gotten in the way as has a month worth of nagging injuries. Can you guys take a look at my logs and let me know how you think I am doing? Everything is acurate. My goals are to get off the bike feeling relatively strong and eager to start the run. Sure, weather will dictate a lot of what will happen, but under normal conditions I would like to run the marathon except for walking the aid stations. I am not ready to give a time goal. Maybe after my HIM. I need a new saddle in a bad way, but I feel pretty good after my long rides--though my longest has been 4 hours. Any thoughts/advice would be appreciated. |
