Subject: RE: Ironman Louisville : Official ThreadHi there, Here is some info on the course - My watched ran out of batteries towards the end of my run in this year's race and never set the watch to split the events (all together ). Garmin statsI never switch The bike course is rolling terrain and there are plenty!of hills that by the time you get done it beats the crap out of your legs. There were some spots out there this year in the bike course that the temp was around 105 not including the heat index. The run course is flat with only some minor rises but nothing major. A lot of the course is not shaded so the sun does beat down on you pretty good. It was hot, humid this year. The bike course had sufficient aid stations as well as the run course. The run course had an aid station every mile. Hope this helps.
